This Season of Love will come with gifts for loyal fans. Not only are there new treats to enjoy at home and candlelit concerts that will make you feel like a member of Queen Charlotte’s court, but there was one very special event that will bring the entire ton together. On Feb. 14, Bridgerton held its 2025 virtual fan celebration, giving viewers around the world an exclusive sneak peek at Season 4. Queen Charlotte herself, Golda Rosheuvel, hosted a conversation (introduced by a very special guest) with Thompson, Ha, and showrunner Jess Brownell, and offered the audience a tantalizing glimpse at Bridgerton’s next great love story.

Keep reading to catch up on the tea that was spilled at the event, some exciting images from the upcoming installment, and a brand new featurette, which you can watch below. You can also read everything you need to know about the long-awaited fourth season of Bridgerton here on Tudum.

What happened at the 2025 Bridgerton virtual fan celebration ?

With Rosheuvel at the helm, the Season of Love fan event was an occasion befitting Lady Whistledown’s Society Papers. On Valentine’s Day, Thompson, Ha, Rosheuvel, and Brownell gathered in London for a captivating in-person and virtual event celebrating Bridgerton and all the fans who love the Regency-era romance. “Together, we’re here to celebrate the series that has captured so many hearts and imaginations,” Rosheuvel said to the attendees. “Today we share cherished moments from three enchanting seasons … And prepare to embark upon tales of romance and intrigue.” Hugh Sachs, who plays the queen’s right-hand man Brimsley, helped host the soirée as emcee.

What did fans learn about Season 4 from the panel?

Showrunner Brownell kicked off the conversation with a walk down memory lane, reflecting on where Season 3 left off — and where Season 4 picks up. As pictured in never-before-seen images, this season finds “Polin,” fan-favorite Season 3 couple Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), with their new baby. Lord Marcus Anderson (Daniel Francis) and Lady Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell) embark on their next chapter. Sachs’ character Brimsley will get his time in the spotlight, joining the main cast for the coming season. And, fans will be delighted to hear, beloved Season 2 leading lady Simone Ashley, will also return as Kate Sharma, wife to Anthony Bridgerton.

Alongside these exciting updates, Brownell shared a little about what makes Season 4 so special, and how she decided it was time to tell Benedict and Sophie’s love story. Fans from around the globe got a chance to share their excitement and messages of love for the upcoming season’s leading couple with sweet virtual shoutouts.

Speaking of, the two actors told Rosheuvel all about their experience filming Season 4, and how it felt to step into the spotlight of such a storied franchise.  From details about developing their chemistry to the inspiration they took from past Bridgerton stars, the actors dished on their exciting new roles, and dove deep on the season as a whole, accompanied by photos of the new Shepperton Studios sets.

Brownell also teased some of the other changes to the ton — including a new family played by actors Katie Leung, Michelle Mao, and Isabella Wei, who fans got a glimpse of in character as well. Swipe through to get to know the new faces.

Rosheuvel touched on how Season 4 introduces some of the people who keep the ton’s many households up and running. The panel weighed in on how this “upstairs/downstairs” theme manifested in the new season, and Brownell spoke about touchstones from the romance genre — including Cinderella — that resonated in this most recent season. Fans from across the globe — including Mexico, Ukraine, Brazil, Australia, Germany, and the U.S. — also got the chance to pose their own questions to the royal court.

Book lovers will be overjoyed to catch a first look at the famous masquerade ball where Benedict and Sophie have their meet-cute, which takes place in Episode 1 of the new season. On top of images from the fabulous affair, Sachs shared some of the costumes we can expect our favorite characters to don. Bridgerton readers will also be thrilled to see pictures of My Cottage, Benedict’s country home, which features prominently in the fourth installment.

Between Season 4 breaking news, sneak-peek pictures, and the featurette, the Season of Love event was abuzz with excitement for the upcoming season. More than anything, true to the event’s title, what was most potent was a feeling of abundant love — fans’ love of the show, the show’s love of the fans, and the love that will soon unfold onscreen between Benedict and Sophie — and thankfully there are more chances to celebrate Bridgerton’s Season of Love to come. Keep reading to find out how.
