Basic Education Resources & FAQs at MCC

The Adult Learning Center (ALC) serves students from 37 different countries and is consistently ranked in the top five programs in Massachusetts. We serve students at the intermediate English-speaking and writing skill level. While we are not an ESOL program, students have found classes help improve their skills. Steps to Enrollment: All students must enroll or re-enroll each semester. Complete an ALC Registration Form and take placement tests before attending classes. Register at the start of each semester in September and/or January – we offer rolling admission during the Fall and Spring semesters if seats are available. We will contact you once we receive your registration form. Email any questions to the Adult Learning Center or call 781-280-3662.
