Dear Colleagues,
The current state of cybersecurity has led to increasingly complex threats, rapid technological development, and the coexistence of global cooperation and competition. Enterprises and organizations need to adopt multi-level and multi-dimensional security strategies to cope with the ever-changing threat environment.
This Special Issue explores the evolving challenges and innovative solutions in safeguarding digital information with regard to data privacy and transparency. As data breaches and cyber threats become increasingly sophisticated, this field emphasizes the importance of robust encryption, transparent data practices, and proactive security measures. Thus, this Special Issue highlights the balance between protecting user privacy and enabling data-driven innovation while addressing ethical considerations and ensuring regulatory compliance.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
