Shaping US legislation and cybersecurity standards
ISACA supports lawmakers in the US and is regularly cited in Congressional hearings and publications. ISACA regularly communicates with government organizations, supporting legislation affecting its members and the industry. ISACA credentials are included on the Department of Defense’s 8140 schedule and mapped to the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework.
Advancing digital and cybersecurity skills across the EU and the UK
ISACA partners with EU institutions, agencies, and governments to align with policies, regulations, and skills frameworks. As a member of the EU Cybersecurity Skills Academy and Pact for Skills, ISACA addresses the digital and cybersecurity talent shortage and supports upskilling. ISACA co-founded the UK Cyber Security Council, providing broad representation for the industry, accelerating awareness, and promoting excellence in the profession.

Key Tools for Compliance Success
CMMI and COBIT were recognized as key tools to comply with the UK Government-sponsored Cyber Governance Code of Practices. The Code sets key operational resilience requirements for businesses and is intended to become the main compliance.
Empowering DoD’s Cyber Workforce
ISACA’s CISA, CISM, and CRISC certifications are included on the Department of Defense’s 8140 schedule, meeting the DoD’s policy requirements and helping the DoD develop and deploy a strong, capable cyber workforce.
Closing the EU Skills Gap
ISACA is a recognized pledger of the EU Cybersecurity Skills Academy and a member of the EU Pact for Skills, the main two EU initiatives to bridge the digital and cybersecurity talent gap and boost competitiveness, growth, and resilience in the EU.
Singapore Endorses ISACA Credentials
The Cyber Security Agency of Singapore has acknowledged ISACA credentials for unique qualifications and funding opportunities. SkillsFuture Singapore selected ISACA credentials for access to funding towards the goal of a cyber-ready workforce.
