The article discusses the concept, application directions, and related cryptocurrency projects of decentralized computing. Decentralized computing mainly involves processing data to output results, with its biggest market demand being AI training. Despite facing technical challenges such as data synchronization, network optimization, and data privacy and security issues, decentralized computing holds tremendous potential in the field of AI.

This article selects three L2 projects with a more Western background—Mezo, BOB (Build on Bitcoin), and Spiderchain (Botanix)—to further explore the pros and cons of layer 2 solutions and their impact on the BTC ecosystem.

EigenLayer is an innovative project that introduces Active Verification Services (AVS) by re-staking ETH, allowing Ethereum's security and trust foundation to be leased to other systems. EigenLayer users protect other systems by re-staking their ETH and may be at risk of stake slashing. AVS are systems that require distributed verification semantics. They use EigenLayer to enhance the security and functionality of the network. The article introduces 10 Eigen AVS ecological projects worthy of attention, including EigenDA, AltLayer, Omni, Lagrange, Aligned Layer, Hyperlane, Witness Chain, Eoracle, Drosera and Ethos. These projects cover areas such as data availability, rollups re-staking, cross-chain interoperability, modular oracle networks, security incident response protocols, and the security of the Cosmos chain.
