Galaxy is a web-based scientific analysis platform used to analyze large biomedical datasets such as those found in genomics, proteomics, metabolomics and imaging. Started in 2005, Galaxy continues to focus on three key challenges of data-driven biomedical science: making analyzes accessible to all researchers, ensuring analyses are completely reproducible, and making it simple to communicate analyzes so that they can be reused and extended. It features a rich tool set for large-scale genomics analyzes, terabytes of public data for use, and hundreds of shared analysis histories, workflows, and interactive publication supplements.
The TMS & BioClues has taken an initiative to widen the Galaxy Project in India to utilize the available open resources and to make an accessible environment for research.
