I've used several CRMs in the past, including Salesforce and in-house systems, and Redtail has been by far the easiest to learn and use. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making my daily workflow much more efficient.
One of the standout features is their exceptional customer service. Whenever I need help navigating the system, I can quickly connect with their team via virtual chat. They’re able to see my Redtail in real time and guide me through the steps, which has been a game-changer.
I also had the opportunity to attend Redtail University, and it was an amazing experience. The training was highly informative, and their team was engaging, lively, and truly invested in helping users get the most out of the CRM.

So far, our experience with Redtail has been almost exclusively positive. Their system is very detailed and in depth, yet not overwhelming. You can add a lot to a client’s profile, and everything is easy to find and maintain. The fact that they pull the clients’ data directly from our Broker Dealer and emails from outlook is a huge help.
We’ve had no access issues or service downtime at all, and customer service has been excellent. If we have any questions the chat function links you to a service agent almost immediately. They’ve all been very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
We use Redtail every day, and the more we use it the more we get out of it. We find something else we need, just ask the chat and sure enough Redtail probably has it. It has so many features and integrates seamlessly with our back office and emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have leveraged RedTail Technology for many years. It has provided invaluable organization for my business as the world moves towards a more technology advanced society. The ability to upload all of my documents, notes etc. create a secure cloud backup. I can access information on the go. I can identify opportunities, organize these and take action. There are many features on redtail that would be beneficial to understand however these require a learning curve. I am only leveraging the technology in a basic sense and feel there is more useful components I am overlooking. Sometimes I also experience slow downs or black outs when trying to access my portal, this is infrequent but does happen from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm really impressed by the documentation options - ways to tie in specific accounts, attach documents to specific activities and that there isn't a limit to the amount of notes you can add to any given activity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that there were more intuitive ways to get answers to my questions. While there are numerous options when I have a question, it seems like I have to watch a full traning segment in order to get an answer to one simple question. To this day, I haven't found a way to create a report tailored to my specific needs. I'm sure that there is an option for this type of report and I'm sure that the answer is out there, but I just don't have time to watch different training videos that I think may provide the answer. Client information is fast and easy to find. Can put almost everything about the client and notes so I don't have to go to paper files constantly. I live on Redtail. When clients call in we can identify them immediately and the last few conversations. The Help feature is easy to find. It combines our brokerage accounts. Still learning all the functions that Redtail can do. Use it to identify clients with RMD's and renewals as well. Love the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the only things I can think of is that we are not able to integrate annuity companies. I don't know if we will be able to do that like we do our Fidelity accounts but that would be a great plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our office has been using Redtail for CRM as well as email hosting for some time now and I find that it is very user friendly. With daily use for at least 15 years (likely more) I also feel that if I do happen to need assistance, the helpdesk is easy to reach and always very efficient. As a boutique RIA, Redtail has been a great fit for us- we utilize it daily to schedule our day-to-day meetings, develop our internal database of customer data, and monitor customer contact history. There is a bit of a learning curve. We definitely appreciate all of the training tools and videos Redtail offers, but we still feel as though we're only scratching the surface of everything it can do. I have a number of suggestions for improvement:
1. Please figure out a way to drag and drop files and folders in imaging instead of scrolling through hundreds of folders when moving files. Drag and drop was available in Retriever and was super helpful.
2. Please provide a Search when moving folders instead of scrolling through hundreds of folders when moving files.
3. When viewing images in imaging, please show the pdf so we can scroll down the document like a normal pdf instead of clicking to advance each page.
4. (This is MOST IMPORTANT to us!) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE provide the ability to notify a user or a team from a Notes COMMENT and not just the original note. We use comments extensively and it would be extremely helpful to notify other users from the Redtail note comment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer service is 10/10. Otherwise it is a very reliable and proven CRM for the financial industry. Cost is reasonable and they do not nickle and dime you with tons of add-on features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing big that I can think of, it is a leader in the industry and has stood the test of time. Some things around workflows could be streamlined and a little less clunky. Too many clicks are needed to mark task complete, etc. But that's not a huge issue at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Redtail mail and Redtail chat. It helps to be able to communicate with clients throught the chat and the info is saved to their profile. The same for Redtail email - it saves the communication with the client for future reference and compliance reasons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
