The Real MC Eiht - Harris Rosen
Excerpt of The Real MC EIHT: Geah!
It ain’t about the money. If it was all about the money I’d a been out this game a long time ago. I can honestly say, I was a nigga who didn’t make a penny. I feel it was just a test. You get tested in the business. Everybody knows that. If you one of those artists who want to be around for the duration. Like I said, I can sell a million records today, and my next album could sell 200 000. You got to be ready for that shit. That’s the up and downs of this business, and that comes from being an artist and not a motherfucker on the come up ‘cause that’s what I am. I’m an artist. I’m not a nigga on the come-up. Everybody is saying this is the new dope game. Well, I’m not trying to flip my shit to make extra change. I’m in it to be the big supplier. See what I’m saying. I’m in it to stay here for a while. I’m not here to stand on the corner and sell my little cavi piece. I’m here to supply everybody with this shit, and that’s the thing.
