Simon moved to Canada in the early 90’s. She was born in Eastern Europe, to parents of different nationalities, spent most of her early life traveling, and she speaks four languages.
She worked in the immigration and mental health sectors, and in many schools in Toronto’s west end, with newcomer families. She had coordinated diverse programs, facilitated workshops, and had done advocacy work.
She now lives in Toronto with her family, pursuing her lifelong dream of being a writer.view less
