She began writing short stories and poetry early in her childhood. In middle school Christine was a member of the Journalism Club. During deployments in the Navy she showcased her poetry for members of the crew, from that experience she began participating in poetry sets in Hampton Roads Virginia, which led to her changing her college major to Bachelor in Fine Arts Creative Writing.
