Not sure how Ward got the ball there, but he did, a bit of a leading edge maybe, as he closed the face on the full length, and now Sussex are right in the soup. 13/2 5.2 to JM Coles, flicked hard off the full length, straight to short midwicket! Coles joins the procession, and Gloucestershire are soaring!. 27/3 5.3 to TP Alsop, pinger! Unplayably good! 6.2 to TGR Clark, splat goes the off stump! Two freebies and a missed sweep! Price finds his length from round the wicket, straightens just enough past an ambitious sweep, and Sussex are five-down!. 44/5 8.6 to FJ Hudson-Prentice, long-hop, picks out the man this time! His eyes lit up as the ball was dragged down, but his urgent bash across the line flew straight into the fielder's bread-basket. This is going Pete Tong for Sussex. 60/6 | ||||||||||

9.5 to JA Simpson, very straight, very full, very out! SImpson reviews, but this looks futile. Pitched in line with off, was angling in at the rest of the stumps. He lined up the sweep but the ball speared underneath his bat. There might be half a chance the margin of error says it's impact outside off, but no, the umpire's call goes with Gloucestershire, and so does the wicket!. 64/7 15.5 to OE Robinson, extra air from Smith, luring Robinson into the big heave, but the pace wasn't there, and Hammond takes a good catch at deep mid-off, judging the swirling ball well. 101/8 15.5 to TS Mills, Mills is done first-ball! Bracey nails him down the leg-side, in a Gloucestershire circa-2000 tribute dismissal! Soft hands, gathering the ball fired past the pads, he took it blind but whipped off the bails in an instant!
