Liverpool beat Sevilla 4-1 thanks to Luis Díaz double

Liverpool romped to a comfortable 4-1 win against Sevilla in a preseason friendly at Anfield on Sunday.

Diogo Jota opened the scoring for the home side before Luis Díaz scored twice and substitute Treymaurice Nyoni added the final goal of the game.

Arne Slot named a strong starting XI, including Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.

Jota opened the scoring for Liverpool on 30 minutes with an excellent first-time volley into the top corner after getting on the end of Alexander-Arnold's ball over the top.
