Curry had an eventful summer of his own, catching fire in the medal games of the Olympics to help lead team USA to the gold. His shooting expedition demonstrated that, even at 36 years old in his 16th NBA season Curry is still the best shooter in the NBA with a proclivity for going nova-hot at any given moment. In the four seasons since missing most of 2019-20 injured, Curry has averaged 28.2 PPG, 5.8 APG, 5.3 RPG, 4.9 3PG and 1.0 SPG in 33.9 MPG. Those numbers are all in play for this season as well, though he likely plays fewer minutes and therefore produces slightly less volume across the board. The question will be durability, with last season's 74 games played marking the first time Curry played 70 or more games since the 2016-17 season. Curry's mega-volume 3-point shooting is more valuable in category leagues, leading him to a top-20/second round valuation in category leagues vs more of a top-25/third round valuation in points leagues.
