Central Connecticut State University is proud to have a wellness clinic located on campus that offers medical care to both full-time and part-time enrolled students regardless of whether they live on campus or commute. We have a dedicated team of healthcare professionals that aim to ensure that students receive the necessary support for their well-being.

At the Student Wellness Center, students can be seen by a provider at no charge. We do not collect or bill insurance companies. Please note that if a service such as a lab test or prescription medication is provided in office, there may be a nominal fee that is always discussed with the student prior to testing or administration.

Student Wellness Center is NOT a 24/7 clinic and appointments are strongly encouraged, although we do our best to accommodate walk-in appointments. Appointments can be made by calling the front desk at 860-832-1926. If assistance is needed outside of business hours, please contact 911 for emergencies or search for one of the many local urgent cares a short distance away from campus.

Please Note:

  • We are unable to evaluate injuries sustained because of motor vehicle accidents.
  • Notes are not routinely provided for missed classes and are given on a case-by-case basis. Students should schedule appointments around class time.
  • Health service providers do not do visits outside of the office, such as in a student’s dorm room.

Emergency Services: If you or someone you know is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, including a health, mental health, or substance abuse-related emergency, please by-pass health services and call 911 immediately.
