Our Women’s Health Clinic is staffed by a female general practitioner and nurses. The clinic specialises in the health and wellbeing of women, with a focus on:

Services for men
Our Men’s Health Clinic specialises in helping men better understand and manage their health needs. Our male men’s health nurse practitioner can provide annual check-ups, health assessments, information and support to help you achieve a healthier lifestyle. A 45-minute consultation is all that’s needed for a complete health check.
A range of health education programs are available for workplace and the general community designed to suit individual needs.

If you feel there are challenges in your life that you are struggling to deal with it’s important to know you are not alone. Many people feel this way when faced with difficult situations or life pressures.
Our qualified counsellors are here to listen, answer your questions and guide you. We offer counselling from our Bendigo, Kangaroo Flat and Eaglehawk sites.

Problems with alcohol or drugs
We know alcohol, illicit or prescription drug addiction can be a harrowing experience.
We provide psychological support for individuals, partners or families affected by alcohol and other drug use through our specialised and generalist counselling programs at Kangaroo Flat, Eaglehawk and Bendigo sites.
We also offer alcohol or other drugs withdrawal programs.

Living with diabetes
Our Diabetes Educators can help you to adapt to a life with diabetes, support you to set goals for self-managing your diabetes, and educate you on the diabetes process.
They can support you with:

- Tools to help you manage your diabetes

Problems with my feet
Our podiatry team will support you to live independently by helping with mobility and function issues, foot care and monitoring foot health.
Our podiatrists manage foot and lower limb conditions through prevention, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.
You will need a referral from your doctor or other health provider and a pension and/or healthcare card to be eligible for this service.
Our podiatry service is offered at Eaglehawk, Kangaroo Flat, Elmore and Strathfieldsaye sites.
There is a $15 appointment fee for this service.

Help with respiratory management
Being diagnosed with a chronic condition such as asthma can be a frightening experience. For some it may be not having enough information about the disease and its treatment or not knowing where to go for help.
Our respiratory management program provides people with a range of information and support, with the nursing team who have had additional training in respiratory management.

Living with asthma
Our Respiratory Management Program can help you with any problems or issues associated with breathing and lung health. The program is staffed by our community health nurses who have specialised training in asthma management, lung health, and Quit smoking.
Our staff will provide you with information and support to help you to manage your disease at the ideal level and support you to achieve your goals.

Staying healthy and meeting other people
We have several programs designed to allow you to improve your health and wellbeing and meet new people at the same time?
Our Active Living Program offers exercise physiology, strength and conditioning training, Falls and Balance Group and Diabetes Exercise Sessions to keep you happy, healthy and living independently.
Social Support Group at Elmore (formerly the Planned Activity Group)
Our Social Support Group at Elmore can help you to keep your independence and wellness by being engaged and supported to live in the community. The group offers a range of activities such as day trips, music programs, bingo, films, craft and ‘the shed’.
It is open to men and women who are 65 years or over and people who are younger with a disability.
