Airbus partners and suppliers are part of an extended family, each playing a crucial role in our joint success.

Around 80% of Airbus’ activity is sourced externally. We work with more than 12,000 suppliers worldwide, who provide products and services for flying and non-flying parts.

Airbus continuously develops its supplier base, with an overall sourcing volume valued at approximately €49.6 billion. Our external procurement is equivalent to over two-thirds of Airbus’ revenues.
 

Suppliers for direct procurement are grouped by commodities for flying parts.

Indirect procurement of goods and services – also known as non-flying parts – comes under the responsibility of Airbus General Procurement.

Airbus seeks partners and suppliers who share our values. Transparency and trust are essential ingredients to work for the Airbus team. Partners and suppliers must have a proven track record of industrial maturity, operational reliability and delivering on shared commitments.

Airbus requests that its suppliers comply with the Airbus Code of Conduct and sign the Supplier Commitment to our sustainability principles.
