Technology plays a major role in the development of the economy of a country and in general in organizations. It is known that it is used in the massive media, the Internet, known by society, which favors all, in this case banking, which allows its users facilities as the constant development of technology and easy setup supports, and also neglecting safety. In addition to the vulnerabilities in the configuration, technology, humans, applications, platforms, among others; exploited by Cybercriminals organizations operating at an international level, causing incalculable losses to the banking system, the worrying thing is that is growing. However, some banks are required to meet minimum safety standards, there will always be risks, in this way it won't be possible to achieve information security one hundred percent.

Il tema delle intercettazioni è di nuovo sotto la lente del legislatore e con esso anche quello del captatore informatico. Ancora una volta si assiste all’ennesima insoddisfacente modifica della disciplina legislativa di questo mezzo di ricerca della prova. Per comprenderne i motivi di biasimo si analizzano brevemente le potenzialità tecniche del captatore e l’evoluzione “storica” della normativa, per giungere, infine, ad alcune brevi osservazioni circa le lacune e le incompletezze che permeano l’attuale disciplina codicistica.

Wiretappings are again under the magnifying glass of the legislator and, with them, the trojan horse too. One more time we are facing to the umpteenth and unsatisfactory legislative amendment of this evidence instrument. In order to comprehend the reason of the blame, we will briefly analyse the technical potentials of the trojan horse and the “historical” evolution of the law, to eventually reach some short observation of the gap and incompleteness of the current codex legislation.

La Sesta sezione penale della Corte di cassazione ha applicato il principio di diritto enunciato dalle Sezioni unite nella sentenza n. 51 del 2020 per affermare l’inutilizzabilità dei risultati di intercettazioni effettuate anche con l’impiego di un captatore informatico. La decisione offre l’occasione per alcune riflessioni sulla riforma dell’art. 270 cod. proc. pen. in materia di utilizzazione delle risultanze di captazione eseguite in altri procedimenti.

— This seminar covers a contemporary issue in Computer Security; Spyware and Trojan Horses. These are separate security threats to networked systems, both of which are realized using differing software development techniques. We introduce the concepts of Spyware and Trojan Horses, followed by detailing how each is constructed and installed. We go into depth on their operation, which is revealed with the aid of demonstration software. Following our examples, we present a range of preventions, solutions and cures to each threat posed. We discuss the issues surrounding the user's interaction with such software and conclude by specifying an optimal solution for the avoidance of the threats posed. This seminar is aimed at everyday computer users, Software Engineers and Computer Security professionals. The differing levels of information conveyed will be of use to each of the aforementioned groups. We are confident that each group will receive sufficient information to minimize the risks posed to them by Spyware, Trojan Horses and other affiliated network-based software. Smart phones are increasingly being equipped with operating systems that compare in complexity with those on desktop computers. This trend makes smart phone operating systems vulnerable to many of the same threats as desktop operating systems. In this paper, we focus on the threat posed by smart phone rootkits. Rootkits are malware that stealthily modify operating system code and data to achieve malicious goals, and have long been a problem for desktops. However, the ubiquity of smart phones and the unique interfaces that they expose, such as voice, GPS of rootkits particularly devastating. We conclude the paper by identifying the challenges that need to be addressed to effectively detect rootkits on smart phones.

The Trojan War is the foundation of Greek history. If Greek historians had little doubt of its existence they remained extremely skeptical regarding its mythological origin. Archaeology has confirmed one essential point: there was indeed a general conflagration in the Greek world around 1200 BCE, the assumed period of that war, which caused the disappearance of two powerful empires: Mycenaean on one hand and Hittite with its vassals on the other hand. The inscriptions of Ramses III's year 8 describe actually a general invasion of the Mediterranean by the "Sea Peoples", but without giving any reason. A precise chronological reconstruction, based on few absolute dates, shows that the annexation of the kingdom of Cyprus (Ala!ia), closely linked to the Mycenaean world, by Hittite King Tudhaliya IV (1241-1209) played a role of detonator in the confrontation between a Greek heterogeneous confederation, consisting of pirates and privateers on one side and a set of vassal kingdoms of the Hittite empire, as Troy and Ugarit, on the other. This struggle to control a vital sea path, from Crete to Egypt, via Cyprus, which ended with a complete mutual destruction in 1185 BCE, the climax of the famous Trojan War, had begun 10 years earlier. Surprisingly, this conclusion was already that of Eratosthenes (276-193). Historical and epigraphic context shows that Homer wrote his epic shortly after Queen Elissa founded Carthage (c. 870 BCE).

Bo прилог на овој милениумски континуитет е несоборливото сведоштво на Јорданес од 551 г. во неговата „Гетика", каде тој многу децидно и недвосмислено го сумира овој непрекинат континуитет на Македонскиот јазик:

Во средновековно време, Македонците биле дел од Ромејското Царство, сè додека конечно не биле проголтани од Турците Османлии во 15-от век. Поголемиот дел од нив остана под Турција сè до почетокот на 20 век, кога конечно Турците беа протерани од Македонскиот Полуостров во 1912 година. Тогаш македонскиот народ беше разделен меѓу трите (нови) соседни држави - Србија, Бугарија и Грција - состојба на работи која сè уште делумно опстојува и денес, бидејќи сè уште има околу половина милион Македонци и во Грција и во Бугарија и во Србија. Македонците, иако поделени и малку на број, и покрај тоа што беа
искористени економски и политички, сепак успеаја да ги зачуваат своите карактеристични (антички) дијалекти и култура, главно во нивните села и во помалите градови. Поголемите центри беа во претходните векови во најголем дел латинизирани, потурчени, барем површно. Нивните поети и научници, како што се браќата Миладиновци во 19-от век, Б. Конески, В. Иљоски и К. Тошев во нашево време (т.е. 20 век), како и научниците од Русија и Западна Европа, како А.М. Селишчев, А. Мазон и А. Ваилант, собрале многу убави народни песни и пријатни фолклорни приказни, богатства на фолклорот зачувани од македонскиот народ. This article argues that Akhilleus' reference to the wealth of Orkhomenos and (Egyptian) Thebes (Iliad 9.381–4) reflects the political and social conditions of the Mycenaean period, which thus helps to explain the onomastic equation between Egyptian and Boiotian Thebes.

Although rarely addressed in modern scholarship, over the last several decades, design implemented at archaeological and historic sites has become the organizing agent to present ancient cultures to the international public. Using topologies such as site museums, reconstructions, interpretive installation art, and comprehensive site planning, physical construction is now used to metaphorically guide visitors through the chronology and visual culture of a specific place while physically guiding them through the material remains. This dissertation examines the concepts of space, culture, and design and their junction as part of the overarching concept of “heritage interpretation.” Through a series of individual site studies, this document discusses how different types of intervention can affect visitor understanding, experience, and the interpretation of history and ancient cultures by the greater public. As a comprehensive study, the research examines what methods have been used and are currently being used to facilitate public engagement with ancient remains through design, specifically placing physical interpretations within an immersive theoretical and historical context. By utilizing a multi- disciplinary approach, the dissertation examines how the concepts of ancient art, cultural heritage, and modern construction interact at some of the most famous world historical sites, and how archaeological interpretation can affect a broader understanding of time, place, and culture.

Listening to the podcast one is left with a sense of disbelief: how is it possible that a letter widely considered to be fraudulent, which emerged in the context of local discontent in schools, could not only lead to a witch hunt against Muslim school teachers but also foment national hysteria about the presence of Muslims in Britain?

There has been much recent research in archaeology on the dynamics of imperial systems, and valuable work has been done on the complex relationships between the Hittite state and groups on its imperial periphery. The nature of the available source material means that these relationships are usually studied from a Hittite perspective, and that interactions with the Hittites are often seen as centrally important for these groups. In this paper, however, it is argued that archaeological evidence can be used to gain insight into alternative views – views which may not necessarily privilege relationships with the Hittites over those with other groups. One well-documented example of such a group is Arzawa, a quarrelsome coalition of principalities in western Anatolia. This paper will focus on the western Anatolian site of Beycesultan, caught between the Hittite and Arzawan heartlands. It will show that people at Beycesultan did not define themselves primarily in relation to either the Hittites or the Arzawan confederacy, but had their own dynamic and shifting world-view.İmparatorluk sistemlerinin dinamikleri konusunda pek çok yeni arkeolojik araştırmalar yapılmiştır. Bu araştırmalara dayanarak, Hitit devleti ile çevresindeki gruplar arasındaki karmaşık ilişkileri inceleyen birçok değerli çalışma yapılmıştır. Mevcut olan kaynakların doğası gereği, bu ilişkiler genellikle Hitit bakış açısıyla incelenmekte ve çoğunlukla Hititlerle etkileşimin bu gruplar için çok önemli olduğu varsayılmaktadır. Ancak, bu makale arkeolojik kanıtların farklı bakış açılarına sahip olabilmek için kullanılabileceğini savunmaktadır – ki bu bakış açısı, Hititlerle olan ilişkilerinin bu gruplara ayrıcalık sağlaması gerekmediğidir. Bunlar arasında iyi belgelenmiş olan bir örnek de, batı Anadolu'daki savaşçı beyliklerin koalisyonundan oluşan Arzawa grubudur. Bu makale batı Anadolu'daki Hitit ve Arzawa merkezlerinin arasında sıkışmış Beycesultan yerleşimi üzerinde yoğunlaşmaktadır ve aslında Beycesultan halkının kendilerini öncelikli olarak Hitit veya Arzawa birliklerine ait görmediklerini, farklı dinamiklere ve değişken bir dünya görüşüne sahip bir toplum olarak gördüklerini ortaya koyacaktır.

Le sac d'Athènes par Sylla en 86 av. J.-C. est bien documenté dans les sources littéraires, et de nombreuses traces archéologiques de destruction ont été mises en rapport avec le siège syllanien. L'année suivante, en 85 av. J.-C., C. Flavius Fimbria met à sac la ville d'Ilion - l'ancienne Troie -, un épisode qui trouva un écho important chez les historiens antiques. Cependant, les recherches archéologiques récentes ont remis en question ces récits, notamment en ce qui concerne l'ampleur des destructions. À partir de ces deux exemples, cette étude tente d'éclairer le poids symbolique de la destruction de cités prestigieuses, les résonances idéologiques du geste destructeur et l'éventuelle falsification ou exagération des faits réels dans une perspective de propagande.

The core of the Iliad (Books II – XXIII) describes a period of four days and two nights in the tenth year of the decade-long siege of Troy.
The Odyssey describes the ten-year journey home of Odysseus, king of Ithaca, one of the Achaean heroes.
Homeros, said to be a blind bard, lived in the 8th century BC either in Kolophon, or Smyrna, or Khios, or Ios, or Kyme, appears in works of philosophers, historians and lyricist as early as the 7th century BC.
Herodotos (c. 484–425 BC): Homeros and Hesiodos established the lineage of the Greek deities, determined their looks and duties.
Traditionally, later Greeks used to refer to Homer like a holy book when they needed information on religion, politics, military, seafaring, medicine etc. Plato (c. 428–347 BC), who was educated in the same tradition is the first to object to it.
Does Homer really try to establish the foundation of the Greek religion or try to show the wickedness of the religion and corruption of its deities of his time?
The Iliad and the Odyssey were written in the Aeolian and Ionian dialects. Since Smyrna is at the border between Ionia and Aeolis, it would be logical to consider him to be from Smyrna.

Il progresso tecnico-scientifico offre nuove armi alle indagini penali. Tra le novità più rilevanti c’è la possibilità di installare occultamente in un dispositivo elettronico un malware informatico in grado di svolgere attività di ricerca e sorveglianza online. Si tratta di un mezzo tecnologico che invade una sfera di intimità della persona la cui tutela giuridica non è facile da rintracciare, e di difficile sussunzione tra quei diritti che la Costituzione protegge subordinando la loro eventuale compressione – in vista di esigenze fondamentali come quelle della repressione dei reati – alla doppia riserva di legge e di giurisdizione. Il problema è stato fino ad ora complicato dalla mancanza di una disciplina legislativa: di recente una legge molto attesa è stata varata, ma il suo ambito applicativo o copre solo una parte delle potenzialità lesive della nuova tecnologia,
e numerosi profili di criticità restano senza risposta.

A number of modern Arab thinkers have compared the Story of al-Zīr, a little-known Arabic folk epic, with accounts of the Trojan War and the Oresteia. After dealing with the pitfalls of comparing stories from different cultures, I argue for criteria to distinguish between weak and strong parallels, and then analyse the similarities between the story of
Jalīla, that constitutes the first part of the Story of al-Zīr, and the Graeco-Roman stories of Helen’s abduction and Clytemnestra’s murder of Agamemnon. Such a comparative approach, based on the method of folktale studies, sheds new light on a number of much-discussed elements from the story of Clytemnestra, such as “blameless Aegisthus” (Odyssey 1.29), Agamemnon’s minstrel, and the purple fabric and “bathtub” that figure as stage props in the Oresteia.

This article points to the many parallels between the book of Judith and the Arabic account of the life and death of Zenobia of Palmyra. By comparing these two stories with the episode about Zopyros in Herodotus’ Histories and the episode about Sinon in accounts of the fall of Troy, it argues that these similarities can only be explained if we assume that the book of Judith and the Arabic Zenobia Legend are adaptations of the same Vorlage, an earlier story that contained a Holofernes motif (heroine kills enemy) and a Sinon motif (enemy deceives heroine). When this Vorlage was adapted to create the book of Judith, the part of the deceiving Sinon was adapted to create the role of the sincere Achior, whereby he lost his function in the story and became a blind motif.

Hrvaški profesor zgodovine in hrvaškega jezika, Vedran Sinožić iz Novigrada, je napisal tretjo knjigo z naslovom Motovunska magla. Na osnovi različnih dokazov in virov utemeljuje, da je bila Troja na mestu današnjega istrskega mesta Motovun. V knjigi je izpostavil mitologijo (bajeslovje), ki ravno tako potrjuje njegovo raziskovanje. Tudi moj prispevek je napisan na osnovi bajeslovja. Zapisal sem svoj pogled na Trojo, skozi oči potomca staroselcev, ki so v tistem času živeli na današnjem slovenskem ozemlju.

The Logistics of the Adderley Case I will offer some armchair detective work on what I shall call the "logistics" of the Adderley case. At the outset I must make clear to the reader that much information is not in the public domain, (and is not available to me), and that as a third party only recently aware of the case and its significance, my opinions are anything but authoritative. Even so, I will try to raise some issues worthy of consideration even as I sense that there is more to the story than I am able to tackle fairly.
