En este trabajo se explica cómo las cofradías fundadas en Tzintzuntzan durante la época virreinal tuvieron un rol importante en la consolidación de la religión católica, la participación social para fines comunes, el auxilio a los necesitados y la realización de fiestas patronales. Los ingresos de éstas, a través de las aportaciones de sus miembros y de las ganancias que generaba el manejo de bienes comunales, como tierras y ganado, permitieron solventar también parte de los gastos parroquiales, construir o reconstruir sus propias capillas y adquirir objetos y ornamentos costosos, a pesar de que a los visitadores episcopales les informaban no ser solventes. El estudio de las cofradías en este pueblo de la región lacustre de Michoacán da nueva luz para entender su historia social y simbólica en la época colonial. Está basado en fuentes documentales primarias que se cruzaron con estudios especializados y crónicas franciscanas. PALABRAS CLAVE: hospital de indios, cofradías, capillas, Tercera orden, Santo Entierro, prácticas religiosas This paper explains how the confraternities founded in Tzintzuntzan during the colonial era played an important role in consolidating the Catholic religion, in fostering social participation for common ends, in assisting the needy, and in organizing festivities. The income that the confraternities generated through contributions by their members and the profits from the administration of commonly-held properties, such as land and cattle, also allowed them to cover some parochial expenses, build or rebuild their own chapels, and acquire costly objects and ornaments, although episcopal visitors always heard that those religious organizations were insolvent. The study of the confraternities in this town of the lake region of Michoacán sheds new light on their social and symbolic history in colonial times. The study is based on primary documentary sources complemented by specialized studies and Franciscan chronicles.

Third order intermodulation products caused by two or more FM broadcasting radios transmitter on a site to inter modulate either within transmitters themselves or within a non-linear component on site and those intermodulation products due to non-linearity’s of passive circuits of transmitters sharing same radiating element have been the source of interference in Tanzania to aeronautical ground to air communication (COM) systems which are safety services due to its nature of safeguarding human life and properties. The diversity of adopting different step by step approach when developing block methods of the form A⁰Yn+k = AⁱYn-k +BⁱY•n-k +DⁱY• +h³(C⁰Y•n+k+CⁱY•n-k) is quite rigorous. Hence, this study presents an approach called Linear Block Method (LBM) capable of producing directly any k steplength value of block methods for solving third order ordinary differential equations. The LBM algorithm is validated by recovering certain existing k-step block methods in literature. Likewise, the computational complexity of the LBM algorithm is presented.
