Territorial Dynamics

This work begins with the description of the types of farming systems , forms of social organization and categories of farm size present in the area Census databases are the source of the information. These components present a particular combination in each sector of North Oasis of Mendoza River in Argentina In the period analyzed from 1988 to 2008, transformations have occurred that modified the physiognomy of the initial characterization of the sectors. A tour is made through the districts and their groupings, to obtain more detailed information of what happened at this scale, that is useful for detailed analysis on a local scale. In a way of power visualize the trajectories of the farming systems and the drivers that had the greatest influence on them. At the end of the book, the transformations that have occurred with an impact on each area of the North Oasis are analyzed. Several exogenous factors are determining transformations in this configuration, the impact of urban demand constitutes one of marked relevance, in addition to others such as edaphic degradation and abandonment. All the information is summarized in thematic cartography.

Settlement patterns and path networks represent different but connected perspectives on human-environment interaction through movement, manifested through the appropriation and organisation of landscape by societies. Settlement patterns and path networks evolve with unharmonized temporalities, but in constant interaction which render the territorial studies very challenging. Remote sensing, GIS and 3D modeling have greatly contributed to our knowledge and understanding of movement as encapsulated in routes, but the methods employed make it difficult to connect with theories of engagement through travel. Pragmatically, it is difficult to integrate LiDAR-detected traces of pathways, which conflate temporalities, with network analysis techniques and settlement pattern analysis which focus on changing patterns over time. O presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar as dinâmicas territoriais na zona costeira do Estado do Para, Amazonia brasleira. Neste estudo, centraremos atencao na identificacao dos principais fatores que determinaram a estruturacao espacial, as transformacoes no uso e ocupacao do territorio ao longo do tempo e os fatores que promovem, na atualidade, mudanca social no espaco em questao. A analise do dinamismo da zona costeira paraense, ao longo do processo historico induz-nos a entender as logicas espaciais subjacentes a cada periodo, assim como nos permite identificar os fatores determinantes da atual configuracao espacial e de sua funcionalidade para o ordenamento territorial. O objetivo deste trabalho e compreender as estruturas espaciais, as dinâmicas territoriais e os vetores de desenvolvimento da zona costeira paraense.
