moreThis archaeological construction monitoring project took place in 2006 on the west side of Albuquerque at a future TVI (now called CNM) West Side campus. Although no sites were discovered during the monitoring, a series of isolated occurrences were found throughout project area. More importantly, a detailed description of local soils stratigraphy was obtained from a 3m-tall soil exposure. Within this exposed profile, a broad buried drainage channel was discovered and fully described by a professionl soil scientist.
