For no apparent reason, research philosophy tends to send dissertation students into a mild panic. The befuddlement caused by a range of new terminology relating to the philosophy of knowledge is unnecessary when all that you are trying to achieve is some clarity over the status of any knowledge claims you make in your study. Business and Management sits within the broader context of the social sciences, and this chapter offers a guide to the standard philosophical positions required to specify the particular form of research you plan to undertake. Collectively, these positions will define what we refer to as a research paradigm (see Figure 1: Methods Map). For us, a comprehensive articulation of a research design draws together five layers of interlocking choices that you, the researcher, should make when specifying how you plan to execute your research. There is no single ‘right’ way to undertake research, but there are distinct traditions, each of which tends to operate with its own, internally consistent, set of choices.

Significantly, many people with disabilities are victims of classification over generalizations with the assumption that disability is equal to inability. This study focused on challenges faced by children with disabilities in accessing Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) services in Manzini Region of Eswatini. Anchored on the Critical Disability Theory which views disability as a cultural, historical, relative, social, and political phenomenon, the study assessed and analysed the disability issues on the accessibility to ECCD services for young children. Through interviews, data was collected from10 ECCD centres in Manzini which were purposively selected. Ten ECCD teachers, 5 principals, and 5 parents/caregivers participated in the study. The results revealed that failure by these children to access ECCD services in the community impacts negatively on their holistic development. Sadly, young children living with a disability in Eswatini face significant challenges, one of the reasons, just like most of our African countries, being that those who have some form of disability were bewitched or inflicted by some bad spirits. ECCD specialist educators highlighted the need for comprehensive training services that will help them cater to children with special needs. The study recommended for extensive awareness programmes to sensitize communities on the rights of the child, regardless of body, mental or sensory condition.

Prevailing scholarly analyses of international relations pay virtually no attention to music and sound in general. And yet, the political dimensions of music are all too evident.  The terrifying realities of conflict and the search for peace have inspired composers throughout history, from Joseph Haydn's anti-war message in Missa in Tempore Belli to the astonishing outpouring of musical creativity following the terrorist attack of 11 September 2001.  Few would question the political content of explicit musical texts, such as protest songs.  The more difficult challenge, however, is to locate the significance not only of titles or sung passages, where references to the political are easy to find, but also of purely instrumental music.  A number of important epistemological question arise: How is listening different from smelling, touching, seeing, reading, rationalising?  What can we hear that we cannot see?  And what is the political content of this difference?  Expressed in other words, can we gain political insight through music that other sources of knowledge, such as texts or visual art, cannot provide?

I attended a burial at kisauni cemetery and l was left dumbfounded. The cemetery has lost its former glory.lt had overgrown grass, it was unkempt and no sign of a caretaker etc. The last time l was there it was under the defunct municipal council and it was well maintained. There was a barbed fence separating the two sections as there was a path in the middle. The barbed fences are missing and a road has been constructed where there was a path. Who authorized a road inside a cemetery? The road which is halfway has damaged some graves and you could see slabs of former graves lying about and removed during the construction of the road. The people we were with, were imagining where the graves of their loved ones especially where the road passes. Where was the M P? Where was the MCA where all these plans were being made? Have these leaders visited kisauni cemetery recently? We even witnessed a grave made of ceramic slabs damaged by vehicles which park there towards the end of the cemetery. Some houses which had encroached in the cemetery should give way to the cemetery. The free town cemetery was also not sparred either. It was overgrown with grass and bushes. Only the muslim cemetery had a wall round it with a gate. There is a saying that in a cemetery there are very many people who had great ideas, big dreams, ambitions and vision which never materialized and the owners are down there underneath the ground with the great ideas. Cemeteries should be given respect they deserve. The MP and MCA are not representing Mombasa people well.Kisauni cemetery serves the whole of Mombasa and to leave it in a deplorable condition is a shame. Nevertheless the message will reach home. Let them do something about it. A way cannot be created in a graveyard for what? For whole kisauni be private for burial of loved ones and remembrances. by veronica onjoro Mombasa

Abstracts
Background and Objectives: The aim of the present study was to find out the relationship between socio-demographic factors and subjective well-being among transgender in Manipur.
Methods: A sample of 50 transgender residing in Manipur whose age is 18 years and above, irrespective of religion, sex and education were selected as samples of the study through convenient sampling technique. A semi-structured proforma for collecting socio-demographic profile and subjective well-being inventory by H.Sell and R.Nagpal was administered for collecting the data.
Results: The findings of the study shows no significant relationship between the subjective well-being and socio demographic parameters like age range (Positive subjective wellbeing - p-value = 0.612; negative subjective wellbeing – p-value = 0.131), educational qualification(Positive subjective wellbeing - p-value = 0.911; negative subjective wellbeing – p-value = 0.326), occupation(Positive subjective wellbeing - p-value = 0.876; negative subjective wellbeing – p-value = 0.063), place of residence (Positive subjective wellbeing - p-value = 0.392; negative subjective wellbeing – p-value = 0.241), and attitude from family member(Positive subjective wellbeing - p-value = 0.752; negative subjective wellbeing – p-value = 1.786).However, significant relationship is observed between the negative score of subjective well-being with the family monthly income (p-value = 0.019.
Conclusion: As the emergence of transgender is increasing at the same time facing discrimination and rejection from the society, the findings could be useful in shaping and maintaining healthy well-being.

Surprised into an indiscre on, Sona first le his roadside tea stall, then managed one bag of potato and another bag of onion and con nued selling of that potato-onion for the months of March-April 2020, but he didn't a ract buyers. Sona, the roadside tea stall owner, therea er, is seen to wander here and there on the months of May and June like a solitary wayfarer. Right now Sona starts his tea stall again, where both the tea-maker and the tea-takers (mostly labourers and auto rickshaw drivers) are seen without wearing a mask, perhaps raising a symbolic protest against social distancing and lock down. These labour class including migrant labourers lashed out against the authori es of the state and central government on the issue of lock down and social distancing without crea ng any job or paying financial assistance to them. Ram, a tailor by profession, is another example of local economy slowdown. Ram partnered with Robiul (a vegetable vendor from Krishnamohan) who studded his vegetables, greens and guava in front of the Ram's tailoring shop as nobody has come to Ram to tailor shirts and trousers during the last five months. Previously, Ram was not only busy with his tailoring business on the months of August-September before the puja fes val, but he was engaged with the dressmaking by spinning his tailoring machine round the year. U am, the coconut and green coconut vendor, vanished from the market place since 25 March, 2020, the day of the announcement of lock down centrally. Ranjan, friend of U am and a co-vendor informs that U am has to pay at least thousand rupees if he wants to come to Garfa market from a remote village stood under Magrahat Pocice Sta on. Even U am has to wake up from the bed as early as 3 am in the night to a end the market by 6 am in the morning a er coconut and green coconut being collected from the coconut trees of the neighbouring households. Same inconvenience has happened to Dinu, a vendor of vegetables and greens, who is an inhabitant of HomraPalta village under Canning II Development Block. Dinu, by nature, an honest and well-being, always with asmiling face, and used to sell all of his vegetables within two to three hours for his well-maintained behaviour, yet not a end the market place due to disrup ons of the Canning local train services. In this situa on, Nada has managed a machine rickshaw van for carrying his goods for sale from a village from Baruipur Block as he is accompanied by his wife and son, who have stalls of vegetables and greens in the same market place and they sell their goods side by side. There is no informa on about Siuli, a fish-selling woman, upon whom, her lame husband depends who lost his le legfelling from a high-rise building during pain ng its outside wall. Yet Bhagani, the fruit-seller, has managed to share with her sister in the rented hut at Mandal Para adjacent to the Garfa Police Sta on. In the changing scenario, Kesto has changed his ferrying goods, selling from the cockroach and rat-controlling pes cide packets to selling of mask and hand-sani zers. Like that, several tales of reality of the common people for earning their breads are beyond descrip ons. Those people, in fact, are with beggars descrip ons ci ng the examples of slowing down of the local economy. Disrup ons of local economy is the outcome of unplanned decision of lock down taken by the central government with only four hours' no ce. Government has to freeze social and economic ac vity in all parts of the country to combat the pandemic situa ons, shu ering nonessen al businesses and ordering the residents of the country including the labourers and vendors to stay home, stay safe for months. This order causes extreme disrup ons of the economy with the failures of local trades in the towns and metropolis. Even a central minister admi ed that the COVID-19 enforced lock down results a severe economic crisis and the longer-dura on of it would lead to more and more crises rather than the corona virus pandemic. In this paper I enter into the textual landscape of the bread-of-life discourse in chapter six in the Gospel of John to test-drive the interpersonal metafunction, using it as vehicle to analyse the social interaction between Jesus and the people following him.  I have selected the discourse in John 6 because it contains a fairly long dialogue whose topic has bearings on the issue of identity and the formation of identity.
