Unit Pengelola Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor Pulogadung yang bergerak di dalam pengujian kendaraan bermotor. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti mencoba mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pengguna jasa yang diberikan oleh Unit Pengelola Pengujian Kendaraan Bermotor Pulogadung dilihat dari sisi Kinerja Karyawan dan Kualitas Pelayanan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh dari Kinerja karyawan dan kualitas Pelayanan terhadap kepuasan pengguna jasa baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Peneliti menganalisis data dari 97 pengguna jasa di Unit Pengelola Pengujian Kendaraan bermotor Pulogadung. This article seeks to examine how a theological reflection on the priestly emolument in Numbers 18:8-32 would enhance a better interpretation of stewardship amongst believing communities in Africa. Dependency syndrome amongst most African churches, especially those established by Europeans has robbed them of the prestige of adopting a self-supporting/propagating programme. The thesis of this paper maintains that a good synchronization of the tradition-historical exegetical method proposed by Gnuse will facilitate a good interpretation of the priestly emoluments in Numbers 18 and their subsequent application to the church in Africa today. Autoritatea divină și Cuvântul profetico-apostolic Noul Testament folosește într-un mod remarcabil termenul exousia, un cuvânt cu dublu sens care înseamnă atât autoritate, cât și putere. Aceste două idei se află într-o relație strânsă. Dreptul unui conducător de a face un lucru, adică autoritatea lui de a-l face, are puțină importanță dacă acesta nu are puterea sau capacitatea de a-l face. Fără putere, autoritatea devine împiedicată; fără autoritate, puterea devine ilegitimă. Când Biblia vorbește de autoritatea umană și de cea angelică, ea vorbește în contextul posibilităților conferite omului și îngerilor de către o sursă mai înaltă. Indiferent ce autoritate ar exista în domeniul ființelor create, ea nu este niciodată doar o problemă de autoafirmare a creaturilor. Întreaga desfășurare cosmică există numai prin Dumnezeu, ca temei ultim al întregii autorități derivate. Nu numai autoritățile și puterile supranaturale care slujesc în prezența cerească a lui Dumnezeu, dar chiar și Satan, care exercită și conferă putere și autoritate limitată pe pământ, face lucrul acesta numai între limitele bine-definite ale voinței și scopului suveran al lui Dumnezeu. Numai în calitate de ființe create neascultătoare, oamenii morți în greșelile și păcatele lor ascultă de "domnul puterii văzduhului, a duhului care lucrează acum în fiii neascultării" (Efes. 2:2). Pentru cei ce se pocăiesc, Dumnezeu, Suveranul tuturor lucrurilor, a asigurat o scăpare și o iertare; Prin Fiul Lui i-a salvat El pe cei răscumpărați de sub "domnia întunericului" și i-a adus în Împărăția Lui (Col. 1:13). Deși Saul din Tars a pornit pe drumul Damascului, remarcă Anania, "cu autoritate de la marii preoți" ca să-i aresteze pe credincioșii creștini (Fapte 19:14) și a recunoscut în fața împăratului Agripa: "am întemnițat mulți oameni ai lui Dumnezeu prin autoritatea pe care am obținut-o de la marii preoți" (Fapte 26:10), după convertire el insistă că Dumnezeu este baza autorității. Confruntat cu Domnul cel răstignit și înviat, Paul se declară acum sub însărcinarea divină transcendentă de a întoarce oamenii "de sub puterea Satanei la Dumnezeu" (Fapte 26:18).

This essay presents and discusses The Platform of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina for Dialogue (2006), a programmatic document of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its first section sets out basic principles for Bosnian Muslim participants in inter-religious dialogue on religious diversity and coexistence. The second one deals with inter-ethnic and international relations, human rights, and violence. The third section highlights the Bosnian Muslim perspective on the 1991-1995 war in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the post-war restoration of a pluralist society. The Platform offers a rare but clear statement of the Islamic Community’s position on dialogue and cooperation and was reasonably positively received by Christian theologians in the region.

The ancient Cynics occupy a unique place in Hellenistic thought for the physicality of their self-representation. On the one hand, Diogenes is depicted accusing philosophers, in particular Plato, of idle talk, himself advocating double training (mental and bodily), and performing his philosophy through acts of “street theatre” in various public spaces. On the other hand, he derides athletes and the folly of those following them to athletic festivals. While the two directions of criticism differ in aim and scope, they must be viewed in tandem to establish the Cynic view of the body.

This essay, dedicated to my friend and colleague, Yehoshua Gitay, discusses the story of Hannah, with emphasis on the speeches and on Hannah’s two prayers, the prose prayer embedded in the narrative and the poetic prayer that follows it. The two prayers are compared in terms of their rhetoric and their function. Hannah is a barren mother. That is, her story, like those of Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Samson’s mother, employs the motif of a woman who is barren for a long while and then gives birth to a child of special destiny. As in the case of Sarah and Rachel, another woman is involved, a co-wife named Peninah, who is fertile while Hannah is not, and who feels superior to Hannah for that reason. Peninah is a wife of equal status to Hannah, not a slave woman like Hagar but a full-status wife like Leah. Since Hannah is listed before Peninah, we may assume that she was Elkanah’s first wife. Old Testament scholarship in South Africa has deepened, broadened, and evolved over the years; and various trails can be traced within it. The article interrogates whether Old Testament scholarship has passed the glorious age. The following issues are explored: First, the retirement of scholars in recent years as a signal of the coming to an end of the second-generation of Old Testament scholars in South Africa; second, the developments in black Old Testament scholarship as a trail which developed alongside white Old Testament scholarship; and third, the prospects of Old Testament scholarship from a decolonial perspective. This article argues that the future of Old Testament Scholarship in (South) Africa is in a blackening, that is, a redress process through broadening of the scholarship to reflect the continent in which it has to thrive .

Empathy and homophily communication in campaigns is important to garner public support in the era of democracy. Loyal community support can be achieved if political actors make empathy and homophile communication appropriately. This study aims to find out how empathy and homophile communication carried out by Gus, a legislative candidate, is able to win votes from a community that is basically apathetic to politics, namely the thoriqoh congregation. The research method used is a qualitative approach, with in-depth interview and observation data collection techniques. The results showed that the communication of empathy and homophilia carried out by Gus, made it seen as part of the Thoriqoh congregation itself thus increasing its credibility. The homophile aspect fulfilled by Gus so that he gets full loyal support from the Thoriqoh congregation is in terms of equality in dressing, religion, speaking, behaving, and in carrying out rituals.
