Taunggyi is a hill town in the southern Shan State, Myanmar. The Taunggyi town plan was firstly laid out in 1892 and designated as a town on September 15, 1894 after annexation of British. Taunggyi was appeared by relocating a British fort from the old town of Mong Thauk, east of Inle Lake in Nyaungshwe.

Egypt is considered as one of the weighty touristic countries in the world. It possesses a cultural and natural heritage that attracts millions of tourists every year. The Egyptian government decided to create a new cultural and heritage attraction which is the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) that will house more than 100,000 artifacts from the Pharaonic, Greek and Roman eras and will give a major boost to the tourism sector in Egypt. Announced in 2002, the GEM is believed to be the national Egyptian project of the century as it is one the largest museums in the World displaying the heritage of a single civilization. The Memphite necropolis is a historical place near the GEM and has many archaeological and environmental tourism attractions as well as many traditional handicrafts that form a diversified tourism product. However, there are clearly still shortcomings in this area to be put on the map of sustainable tourism. The existence of the GEM could be a strong motivator for achieving tourism development and finding solutions for the tourism sustainability in the region. The objectives of the study are to indicate the role of the GEM as a global museum on the Egyptian tourism sector. The paper would find effective tools, with the GEM facilities, for revival and touristic development of important heritage sites in the Memphite Necropolis (specifically the strip from Abu Rawash to Dahshur). It shows the historical relationship between the artifacts of GEM that were discovered at the Memphite necropolis and their places of discovery. In displaying these artifacts and in demonstrating the story behind them, a connection would be created to attract the tourists for visiting their places of discovery (mostly including important pyramids). This would be a tool of upgrading and enhancing the archaeological map of the site for increasing the number of tourists by using the Tourism Routes and Trails starting by the GEM. Besides, the study sheds the light on the other factors of tourist attraction and identifies the problems facing the marketing and the tourism sustainability of the region to develop solution and proposals for it. It also indicates the main principles of tourism sustainability and proposes some means for creating a sustainable tourism in the region that serve the local community without damaging the region's cultural heritage as well as its natural and environmental wealth. The study relied on a descriptive analytical methodology based on a field study analysis. It describes and analyse the significance of GEM and the historical and archaeological importance of the Memphite Necropolis. It also sheds light on the problems facing the Sustainable Development and the needed Projects: A survey was made by distributing a random sample for tour guides, academic members in faculties and institutes of tourism and hotels, tourist experts, workers in ministry of tourism and antiquities as well as secondary data. The study concluded the necessity of sustaining these world heritage sites, completing and improving its services, making a good marketing plan for it, and including it in the tourist itineraries as main places for visits. Finally, it recommends some additional cultural, educational, entertaining, touristic, building, and economic projects for creating new motivations for the tourist attraction and more chances for a sustainable tourism.

Culture is well acclaimed as the fourth pillar of sustainable development along with the environmental, social and economic aspects. Urbanization and industrialization are causing cultural hybridization and degradization and we are trailing towards cultural vacuum. This situation is resulting in the loss of significant indigenous traditions along with values and morals. This is greatly affecting the life pattern, behavior pattern and thinking of people. Social bonding is losing and resulting in to various social problems along with loss of cultural identity, traditions and dialects / languages. People are forgetting their traditions, history, identity and values. Hence, there is a need for generating awareness to protect and preserve the indigenous culture, traditions, identity and heritage. This will help in strengthening social bonding, unity, values, socio-economic independence, sustenance at community level and protecting cultural heritage. This will also improve community involvement and community based cultural sustainable development. Implementation of correct, collaborative and effective mix of traditional and modern practices will prove more fruitful in this perspective. Preservation and promotion of tangible and intangible cultural heritage is essential for preservation of culture and cultural sustenance. Role of public cultural institutions, especially museums, will be significant in achieving this goal of cultural sustainability. Along with preservation of cultural heritage, museums can play significant role in propagating cultural awareness through its various indoor and outdoor activities. In this respect, New Museum Movements through Action Museological approach will be very useful and effective. Now, museums must move ahead from supplementary informal educational institutions to centers of generating cultural awareness and sense of proud for own culture. This paper deals with issues and challenges related with the cultural sustainability and role of Action Museology in cultural sustainability explained through various modes of social communication and relevant examples.

After the emergence of the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh, the Government decided for lockdown over two months lasting until 30 May 2020. All the universities, along with other educational institutions, are closed down until 19 December 2020. Such measures, however, have the potential to cause and exacerbate the mental stress in people, especially the students. The study aimed to explore the triggering factors which increase the mental stress of the students of both public and privateuniversitiesamid COVID-19 pandemic. To that end, 1000 students of different public and private universities of the country were surveyed online. Under this study, a quantitative approach was undertaken to infer information from relevant variables through the use of descriptive analysis. Moreover, several virtual Key Informant Interview (KII) sessions were conducted with university teachers, education scholars and psychosocial counselor to get expert views on an effective education system, safeguard of the students and suggestions to reduce the stress of them. The survey result shows that students of private universities (80.6%) were found more mentally stressed than students of public universities (77%). Students of public universities were particularly stressed because of financial crisis and looming university session jam whereas, students of private universities were mentally stressed because of uncertainties of online classes/or activities and high tuition fees. Therefore, it is indispensable to bring in time-oriented policy and plan for the management of education system as well as safeguard of the students amid this pandemic and implement with strong monitoring may decrease the mental stress of them.

This paper argues that any museum's collecting policy must face up to the problem of vulnerability. Taking as a starting point an item in the collections of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, I argue that the basic responsibility of museums to collect 'things', and to communicate information about them in a truthful way brings their collecting practice into the epistemological domain of testimony and into the normative domain of ethics. Museums are public spaces of memory, testimony, representation and interpretation that at once enable humanity to hold to account those who transgress while at the same time holding to account those who witness these transgressions. By virtue of this, museums can be considered spaces of ethics wherein testimonial and hermeneutic injustice can be confronted and challenged.

At present moment there are thirteen private collections donated by their creators to the Zoological Museum of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. They provided the basis for important contributions to zoology by many scientists during XIX-XX century.

The Systematic Collections Committee of the American Society of Mammalogists advises curators and other personnel affiliated with natural history collections in matters relating to administration, curation, and accreditation of mammal specimens and their associated data. The Systematic Collections Committee also maintains a list of curatorial standards for managing a collection-accreditation program under the auspices of the American Society of Mammalogists. To date, the Systematic Collections Committee has provided guidance for the more traditional specimen collections (skin, skeletal, fluid, etc.) and specimen data management.
