The current research aim is to investigate the direct effect of talent management on organizational effectiveness in the health care sector. The study population consisted of all working employees at all levels, from the medical and the managerial domains with a total of 3512 employees, a quantitative research design and regression analysis were used to a convenience sample on a total of 251 valid returns that were gained in a questionnaire based survey, applied among workers from Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited Jordanian private hospitals. İşletmeler rekabet ortamında başarılı olabilmek ve yaşamlarını sürdürebilmek için kar elde etmek zorundadır. Aynı zamanda işletmeler, bu rekabet ortamında doğru ve güvenilir karlılık analizlerine ihtiyaç duymaktadır. Bu çalışmada, işletmelerin karlılık analizi belirsizlik koşullarında bilgisayar destekli programlar yardımı (bulanık mantık) ile önceden elde edilmiş verilerle gerçekleştirilmiş, daha sonra ise gerçek değerler ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında 2017 yılında faaliyete başlayan bir sağlık kuruluşunun laboratuar departmanında yapmış olduğu 50 adet kan testinden birisi olan açlık kan şekeri testinin kar zarar durumu bulanık mantık yöntemi ile çözümlenmiş, gerçek değerler ile mukayese edilmiştir. Uygulamayı gerçekleştirmek için MATLAB paket programı kullanılmıştır. Uygulama modeli 3 girdi (test sayısı, maliyet, satış fiyatı) ve 1 çıktıdan (kar) oluşmuştur. Modelde Mamdani Bulanık Çıkarım Modeli uygulanmış, durulaştırma yöntemi olarak ise gerçeğe daha yakın sonuçlar vermesinden dolayı maksimumların orta noktası (Mean of Maximum - MOM) tercih edilmiştir. Bulanık mantık yöntemi ile ulaşılan tahmini kar tutarı -541 TL olup, gerçek kar tutarı olan -582 TL’ye % 6,5 hata payı ile kabul edilebilir oranda yaklaşılmıştır.

İngilizce Özet (English Abstract):

Firms must generate profit in order to be successful in a competitive environment and continue their life cycles. Also, organizations need correct and reliable profitability analysis in such a competitive environment. This study ran profitability analysis under uncertainty with computer based software (fuzzy logic) using previously gathered data, and then comparisons were made with actual values. In this context, profit-loss status of fasting blood glucose test which is among the 50 blood tests run by a healthcare organization’s laboratory that started operations in 2017 was resolved with the fuzzy logic method and then compared with actual values. MATLAB package program was used for the implementation phase of this study. Research model included 3 inputs (testing numbers, cost, sales price) and 1 output (profit). Also, research model used Mamdani Type Fuzzy Interference and utilized Mean of Maximum – MOM method to attain closer results. Estimated profit sum gathered with fuzzy logic had been -541 TL, which was 6,5% close to the actual profit sum of -582 TL at an accepted and reasonable level.

Mushroom management style which refers to being kept of the employees in the dark like mushroom cultivation and given them inadequate information to increase their performance, has been considerably drawn attention as a rising metaphor in the few years for management science. Since there are limited mushroom management studies and none of them quantitatively being investigated, the present study aims at being fulfilled the research gap via exploring the mediating role played by mushroom management style within the impact of job stress on intention to leave which have a great impact on the management of organizations. Based on the purpose, the focus of this paper is on the private healthcare sector due to the centralized and hierarchical structure, and being intensely exposed to job stress. From this point of view, the questionnaire has been applied to 221 employees working at the four private hospitals and the data obtained from the questionnaire has been analyzed via “SPSS 22.0”. As a result of the analysis, it has been indicated that the job stress has a significant effect on intention to leave; the mushroom management has a statistically significant effect on both job stress and intention to leave, and the mushroom management has a mediating role on within the impact of job stress on intention to leave. It has been recommended that managers should pay more attention to encouraging effective and operative communication throughout the organization and regularly share more information with the employee since they have a significant role in achieving organizational goals; namely, effectiveness.

UAE healthcare sector has been discussed by many researchers and organizations in the past, but very limited literature is available explaining the factors which can provide control in the hands of healthcare sector leadership to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. The unique cultural environment in UAE healthcare sector requires the control structure based on certain indigenous conditions prevailing in local environment. Three key cultural factors are borrowed from the past literature and model was built to examine the mediating role of the culture of creativity and innovation between the culture of collective leadership and the culture of learning organization. In addition to this, how the leadership commitment moderates the relationship between the culture of collective leadership and the culture of creativity and innovation. The conditional process model, explaining the moderated mediation among these cultural variables, provides knowledge about key relationships among these cultural factors and give better control in the hands of the leadership of the healthcare organizations to achieve sustainable growth and quality of services in the highly competitive environment. The key cultural variables and their interrelationship were borrowed from the author's previous researches and remodeled them to examine the hypothesized framework on the data collected from the sample of 320 employees working in the five healthcare organizations in Dubai. The "Healthcare Sector Learning Organization Scale" was developed and analyzed by the explorative factor analysis to factor out four variables. The output of the conditional process modeling proposed by Andrew F. Hayes has verified the presence of the culture of creativity and innovation as the mediator in the relationship between the culture of collective leadership and the culture of learning organization. Moreover, the moderating role of the leadership commitment on the relationship between the culture of collective leadership and the culture of creativity and innovation was also significantly verified. Research findings show that organizations in the healthcare sector need regular emphasis on research and development practices to help employees in building and managing new knowledge in order to achieve competitive advantage. In this case, the leadership has a key role to play enabling the organization to transform into the culture of learning organizations by implementing knowledge management processes and support for the experimentation in the day-today operations of the organization.

Performance Appraisal has always been popular in some form or another throughout the eras in various forms and attributes. Even in this day and age of globalization, performance appraisal has become a critical requirement for employees in both the private and public sectors. This is essentially a process that evaluates an employee's performance regularly. There are different parameters or benchmarks used to assess an employee's efficiency and functionality, as well as his dedication to the organization. Bengaluru's healthcare situation is a mix of relative abundance and scarcity. Several government agencies and programs provide health care services. In terms of infrastructure, if all primary health care facilities run by different government agencies were combined, there would undoubtedly be enough centers to meet the population's primary care needs. The requirement for a comprehensive, participatory medical plan. The city also has its medical facilities, such as the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuroscience (NIMHANS) and the Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, both of which have top-notch medical personnel. This paper attempts to identify Performance Appraisal systems in hospitals and to offer suggestions for improvement.

Mobile cloud Computing has become part of cloud computing that also deals with various issues of cloud services when is accessed by portable devices in wireless environment. The Healthcare data is relatively sensitive compared to other data which need at most supervision. When Cloud services are accessed by the mobile devices additional challenge like security arises. Providing the Security and privacy for the medical data is an interesting topic to deal with. In this paper the survey is done about the various challenges faced in Mobile Cloud Computing and the existing scenarios.

The usage of Online Social Networks (OSN), such as Facebook and Twitter are becoming more and more popular in order to exchange and disseminate news and information in real-time. Twitter in particular allows the instant dissemination of short messages in the form of microblogs to followers. This Survey
reviews literature to explore and examine the usage of how OSNs, such as the microblogging tool Twitter, can help in the detection of spreading epidemics. The paper highlights significant challenges in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) when using microblog based Early Disease Detection Systems. For instance, microblogging data is an unstructured collection of short messages (140 characters in Twitter), with noise and non-standard use of the English language. Hence, research is currently exploring the field
of linguistics in order to determine the semantics of the text and uses data mining techniques in order to extract useful information for disease spread detection. Furthermore, the survey discusses applications and existing early disease detection systems based on OSNs and outlines directions for future research on improving such systems based on a combination of linguistics methods, data mining techniques and recommendation systems.
