Children's Access to Justice

As countries invest in strengthening the legal framework for child protection, the need to invest in tracking implementation of laws also becomes important. This report is an attempt at tracking the law on child sexual abuse in India called the POCSO Act in three states from 2012 to 2020. The report also explores the possibility of enhancing judicial data accountability while maintaining privacy and confidentiality of children as often enough lack of access to information and data impedes children's access to justice and hampers research that can generate evidence for informed law and policy making.
