Channeling

New Age channeling aims at intimate and daily
contact with benevolent incorporeal entities. In an
Israeli channeling course, students learn to interpret
external events in a new light and to monitor
internal mental, physical, and emotional processes
in new ways, culminating in an ability to achieve
“controlled flow,” a state of consciousness in which
self-attention is heightened but a sense of volition
diminishes. Through the braiding of epistemology,
practice, and phenomenology, they engage in a new
mode of being-in-the-world and inhabit a new
lifeworld where they become conduits to external
forces. Anthropological fieldwork also aims at
understanding epistemological systems through
active participation, but by examining my own
experience in the channeling course I demonstrate
how temporary suspension of disbelief differs from
permanent adoption of a new system of belief.

In this study, the problem of water production in one of Iran's oil reservoirs will be examined. First, using the flow rate diagram of oil and water production, the water production problem will be examined according to time. Then, after confirming the occurrence of water production problem, the mechanism of water production will be investigated using Chan diagnostic diagrams and the created sector model. The results of this study indicate that firstly, the problem of water production in the well under study is observed, and secondly, according to the Decline-curve analysis diagrams, Recovery plot, Chan derivative diagram and schematic shape of the fluid flow movement, it shows the mechanism. Water production is a channel flow process, underwater injection. A gel treatment at early time with 25% of water cut was studied, for that it was modelled a gel treatment after 500 days of production. The main observation is that by increasing the concentration of injected gel, the rate of oil production increases and the rate of water production decreases. The concentration evaluated concentration was from 0 to 100 (lb /bbl) of solution, a stabilization concentration was not observed. Finally, first by identifying the type of water production mechanism for this reservoir in Iran, it has been determined that it has water production through the canal and then by using a simulation of gel injection, the water production rate has decreased and the oil production rate has increased.

The article offers an analysis of the language personality of the addresser in the channelings of Seth and Kryon. It is observed according to the three-level structure: the verbal-semantic, the linguo-cognitive and the pragmatic levels. Basic concepts GOD and HUMAN BEING are contrasted in human and multidimensional pictures of the world. Channeling discourses of both the entities are proved to contain the explicit expression of the addresser's intentions for perlocutionary effect – the consciousness change of the addressee. The very process of channeling is described as a four-stage procedure of " translating " the idea groups and thought packages into a human language.

This article focuses on the intriguing question how channeling,
essentially a religious activity, is practised and constructed within the modern
Western business culture. Two major aspects emerged from the analysis of
observations and interviews with clients and channels: the essence of client–channel
relationships and the nature of the exchange between them. These aspects are compared
to one-to-one management consultancy situations. The results show that the
fundamental principles that help define client–channel and client–consultant
relationships, i.e. perceiving the client as an independent and autonomous individual
and cultivating equality between client and channel/consultant, are similar.
Furthermore, both channels and consultants are expected to follow similar professional
codes of behavior and communication. These findings lead to the conclusion that
channeling, in spite of its focus on accepting guidance from ‘external’ entities, enters
the business domain by embracing existing relationships and linguistic structures.

Can a person alter their physical form in physical reality to the extent that such a transformation is plainly visible to others? There are such adepts, but I'm not one of them. Such physical changes are based solely in physical reality and have no root in what is our eternal essence, or eternal self. Our eternal selves are without form, gender, sex, age; we become aware of them as we evolve. This type of evolution requires our active participation and consent. We do not evolve healthily otherwise.

This is an autobiographical work which I wrote in 1991.  It's about my first encounters with the spiritual entities who came into my life at that time.  For a long time, I was worried that I'd developed schizophrenia, but I kept on living and working in the world.

I had intended to mail the manuscript to several publishers, but life intervened, and it followed me as I moved from place to place.  It took four weeks of concentrated effort to turn the 248 typewritten pages into its current digital format.

This article continues a series of publications by the author dedicated to channeling discourse analysis. The article tackles the problem of channeling as a separate type of discourse and focuses on the means of its addresser presentation. The conducted research testifies to the fact that the author is introduced with the help of the pronouns I and we with their respective functions as well as through the egocentric expressions of self-presentation.

Within the frame of molecular dynamics the equations of state of noble gases and their mixtures have been obtained by means of time averaging procedure for virial based equation with account of three-body interaction. It has been shown, that equations of state can be extrapolated by van-der-Waals-type equations. The corresponding parameters have been calculated. A visible foliation of Xe and Kr components of Kob–Andersen mixture has been found.

Although I have written about the spiritual entities whom I claim are intertwined in my life, I've yet to write of those first days of contact with a spiritual being - my guiding deva, Seima.  Although I did not know it when I first became really aware of her in March of 1991, she had been with me throughout my life; and there was one memorable episode going back to 1958, wherein I experienced my first OOBE - and I met this fantastic flying woman.......

Si1-x-y ,GexCy is a novel group IV semiconductor alloy with interesting possibilities for strain modification and bandgap
engineering. To investigate the growth kinetics of this new semiconductor, heteroepitaxial Si1-x-y ,GexCy films were grown
on 4 in. Si(100) wafers by combined ion and molecular beam deposition at temperatures between 450 and 560°C.
Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) combined with diffraction show that the films, 1000 ± 220 A thick, are single
phase heteroepitaxial cubic diamond solid solutions. For films with a Si : Ge ratio of 7 : 3 the defect density is low for carbon
concentrations less than I%. The (Xmin) minimum yield increases from 0.13 to 0.89 as the carbon concentration increases
from 0.5 to 3%. For low C concentrations, the channeling yield increases with depth indicating that the defect density
increases near the film substrate interface, which is characteristic of partial film relaxation. For C concentrations of 2% and
higher the defect density is uniformly high throughout the films indicating that defects are uniformly nucleated throughout
the film during growth. Infrared spectroscopy measurements show that the Si-C bond length distribution broadens as the
carbon concentration increases and also shows that carbon exhibits a higher substitutionality for a growth temperature of
450°C than for 560°C. A possible interpretation of these results is that the high local strain associated with the Si-C bonds
deteriorates the elastic properties of Si1-x-y ,GexCy, making it more susceptible to relaxation and defect nucleation than
Si1-x-y ,GexCy I under similar strain and growth temperatures.

сутності інших вимірів, і люди. Головним принципом езотеричних учень є духовний сенс життя, а основними поняттями – енергетика, карма, переселення душ, “тонкі світи” тощо. Метою
езотеричного дискурсу є зміна світогляду особистості, підпорядкування матеріального духовному. До автохтонів езотеричного дискурсу віднесено такі концепти, як БОГ, ДУХ, ДУХОВНІСТЬ, ДУША. У всіх підтипах езотеричного дискурсу ролі учасників комунікації статусно визначені: модель
“вчитель/наставник (духовний) – учень”.
INSTITUTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ESOTERIC DISCOURSE. Petryk T.V.
The article singles out esoteric discourse as a subtype of sacral discourse from the point of view of typology
correlations and as institutional one from the point of view of the discourse addressee. Both entities from
other dimensions and human beings can perform the function of esoteric discourse producer. The central
principle of esoteric teachings is spiritual sense of life, basic ideas – energy, karma, transmigration of souls,
“thin worlds”, etc. The aim of the esoteric discourse is the change of the personality outlook, submission of
material values to spiritual. Such concepts as GOD, SPIRIT, SPIRITUALITY, and SOUL belong to esoteric
discourse autochthons. In all the subtypes of esoteric discourse the roles of communicants are status-defined
according to the model “teacher/mentor (spiritual) – disciple”. In channeling-discourse, as a subtype of esoteric one, the role of spiritual teacher is performed by the multidimensional entity and communication
may be both monologic (the entity speaks through the channeler) and dialogic (the entity answers the
questions of the audience speaking through the channeler). It is characteristic of channelings to contain the element or features of other discourses (religious, philosophical, scientific and even literary – in the forms of parables either embedded in the text of channeling or as a separate channeling). Similarity with educational
discourse is traced in role subdivision of the participants and the final aim – to provide the information about the sense of human life in Universe, to explain its laws and regulations, to teach a new vision of life.

Before we were online, we were together as a community.  Before we started calling ourselves 'the Outlands Community,' there were a bunch of us who gathered as frequently as possible to roll together.  In those days I was able to do some cartooning, which was my favorite traditional art medium.  The drawings within reflect our lives at the time - 2001 - 2003.

Epitaxial growth requires an initial surface that is ordered and as free as possible of contaminants such as C, 0, or
metallic impurities. Wet chemical etching of Si( 111) wafers by a solution of HF in alcohol after a modified RCA clean, has
been shown to produce (1 X 1) H-terminated hydrophobic Si surfaces that are ordered at room temperature and can be
desorbed at 200°C in UHV. Less is known about a similar treatment on Si(lO0) wafers, more commonly used in
semiconductor technology. However, high temperature (T> 800°C) thermal desorption of the native oxide on Si(lO0) is
known to induce detrimental effects such as surface roughness, precipitation and dopant segregation. Therefore, this study is
motivated by the development of a low-temperature (T < 600°C) surface cleaning method for Sit 100). RBS combined with
ion channeling and nuclear reaction analysis is conducted to measure the coverage of C, 0, and H as well as the residual
disorder at the surface at different steps of wet chemical cleaning prior to low temperature desorption. Hydrogen is detected
by the forward elastic recoil of H by 4He2+ at 2.8 MeV. 0 and C are detected by nuclear reaction analysis (NRA) at 3.05
and 4.265 MeV, respectively, in combination with ion channeling along the Si( 111) direction to increase the detection
sensitivity for C and 0 as well as to measure the Si surface peak to correlate it to surface disorder. Atomic force microscopy
of these surfaces has shown different degrees of roughness in addition to defect formation and is correlated to the ion beam
analysis results. Our results indicate a strong dependence of final H-passivation on the pretreatment of the Si surfaces before
the final dip in the HE/alcohol solution.
