ITALIANO. Il capitolo del volume (pagine 103-129) parla dell'occupazione italiana in Montenegro durante la seconda guerra mondiale, dell'attività dei tribunali militari italiani in quel teatro di guerra e dei risvolti antipartigiani della presenza italiana in quella regione, facendo anche riferimento all'internamento sul suolo italiano di una parte dei prigionieri civili montenegrini.
ENGLISH. The book chapter (pages 103-29) deals with the Italian military occupation in Montenegro during the Second World War, the Italian Court-martial's activity in that war theatre and antipartisan implications of the Italian presence in that region, also mentioning the internment of a part of the Montenegrin civil prisoners on the Italian soil.

The present paper deals with the missions of Mr. Cesare Durando to Montenegro during his acting in the capacity of both a special diplomatic emissary in the time of Montenegrin- Turkish War of 1876-1878 and the Chargé d’Affaires in the Italian Legation in Cetinje between 1879-1883.
