Sulla scia delle sperimentazioni di Gianmarco Rogo con Arduino, inauguriamo una nuova rubrica dedicata alla famosa MCU di Ivrea e ai rudimenti di elettronica il cui primo servizio si occupa di "Come rendere STAND-ALONE un progetto di Arduino". Nella rubrica "Arte" presentiamo una mostra su "Le quattro dame dei fratelli Pollaiolo". Nella rubrica dedicata al design automobilistico "Automotive" a cura del team di ANT Automotive Group, Lorenzo Caddeo presenta la sua "Enteles Nodachi 2014". Si conclude l'analisi dei sistemi di cogenerazione e trigenerazione nella rubrica "Basi per il disegno e la progettazione" con un articolo su "La cogenerazione i gruppi turbogas" IV ed ultima puntata. Nunzia Nullo nella rubrica "Cinema e animazione" ci svela i trucchi con cui è stato realizzato "Tartarughe Ninja". La "Designer's story" di questo mese cerca di sintetizzare l'opera di uno straordinario ingegnere capace di "scolpire" le strutture dei suoi straordinari progetti: "Pier Luigi Nervi". La rubrica "Intervista" ospita due personaggi molto particolari che animano simpaticamente la nostra Community CAD su G+: il geometra Antonio Martini e Gabriele Asero, un giovane siciliano abilissimo modellista 3D autodidatta.
La rubrica "Libri" ospita Corrado Motta, un espertissimo disegnatore meccanico che ci presenta il suo "Perché SketchUp?". Nicola Amalfitano nella rubrica "Musica" ci parla de "La variazione". In "New Hardware for CAD" analizziamo "Il piatto termico di una stampante 3D". "LeenO 3.10.1, cosa c'è di nuovo?" è lo speciale sul computo metrico di Giuseppe Vizziello, l'attuale sviluppatore di questo software Open Source creato dal compianto Bart Aimar. Marco Garavaglia per la rubricata dedicata al FEM si cimenta in una simpatica quanto improbabile formula giornalistica in "Un'intervista sull'analisi funzionale". Il designer brasiliano Everton Martins, in uno speciale dedicato al Product Design, ci descrive il processo creativo per la produzione industriale nel suo articolo: "Dalle calzature alla gioielleria". Nuova puntata del "Corso di orientamento alla BIM" che tratterà de "I punti chiave della procedura di esecuzione per la pianificazione della BIM". Argomento di questo mese per il  "Corso di base per SketchUp" è: "Stabilire le unità di misura in SketchUp". "Applicazione delle textures di rivestimento sul modello georeferenziato" è la II puntata del "Corso di modellazione geolocalizzata per SketchUp" di Antonello Buccella.

The article deals with an unlikely unlikely alliance of time forging enthusiasts that group together as fossil manufacturers of all sorts: artists interested in future paleontology, poetic technology fans, animatronics workers and designers in dinosaur parks, inventors of lost civilizations, and archaeologists of theme parks and lost movie sets.

In 1924, the model-making company Messmore & Damon, Inc. of New York unleashed their masterpiece: the Amphibious Dinosaurus Brontosaurus, a moving, breathing, roaring animatronic dinosaur, based on displays in the American Museum of Natural History. Over the 1920s and 1930s, this became the focus of an ever-increasing publicity campaign, as Messmore & Damon exhibited prehistoric automata in department stores, the media, and the Chicago World Fair of 1933–34. These displays were hugely popular and widely discussed, drawing from the increasing public appeal of paleontology. Mixing commercial entertainment with invocations of scientific value, Messmore & Damon's prehistoric creations offer a window into the meaning and popularity of the deep time sciences in early-twentieth century America, and the links between science and spectacle in this period.
