moreDifferences in the sequencing of Psalms 25–34 (MT <=> 4Q83 and 4Q98) as well as an asymmetry (Ps 26|32–33 = B/B’) within its chiastic structure (ABCDXD’C’B’A’) raise questions about the history of this small composition. It is more likely that the three psalms of the B/B’ slots were added later, thereby extending a group of originally 7 psalms to the present 10, than that Ps 33 alone was added to the collection. A composition from a single source also remains an option.
