Nursing is considered one among the stressful professions. Over workload inadequate felicities, and sometimes the profession itself would be the cause of the stress to the Nurses. The professional stress of the Nurses creates so many adverse effects and creates negative effects to the persons who depend on the Nurses as the Occupational Stress reduces their concentration in medication. These made this study as essential one. Weiman Occupational Stress Scale was used to construct questionnaire to collect the data from Nurses and required statistical tools were used to analyses the relationship of stress causers with demographic factors and the impact of stress on the physical and mental health of the respondents. The results of the study were found that the Nurses were confronting high level of Occupational Stress during the period of Lockdown. The main stressors were over workload, in adequate felicities, fear of getting affected by the Corona virus and inadequate quality time with family. The demographic factors have significant relationship with the causes of Occupational Stress and the impact of Occupational Stress on the physical, emotional and Psychological state of Nurses is also immense. So enough measures have to be taken to moderate the stress level of Nurses as it is required for Nurses themselves and the patients depending them.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT-A RELATIONSHIP STUDY2020 •
Background of the Study: In today's competitive environment, organizations are looking ways success and they know their potential is on Human Resource Management. Enhancing the knowledge level of employees and making them emotionally intelligent will become the competitive edge of the organizations. Likewise the intense competition among education intuitions made them to think about recruiting talented faculties and the means of retaining them. Objective: The current study is focused on analyzing the association among socio economic factors with knowledge management; emotional intelligence and the relationship of emotional intelligence with knowledge management of teaching faculties. Methods: To analyses the objective 250 was collected through questionnaire from the college faculties of Salem district and the results were derived using chi-square, correlation and regression analysis. Finding and Suggestions: Some of the socio economic factors are impacting the level of knowledge management and emotional intelligence and some are not. Similarly, the components of emotional intelligence are found to have constructive relationship and significant influence on knowledge management of the faculties. Hence the educational institutions are suggested to give importance to emotional intelligence of their faculties, to enhance their faculty's knowledge management.

A Study on Causes of Stress to the farmers during COVID-19 Pandemic2021 •
Background of the Study:India has experienced various epidemics such as cholera (1817-1923), Flu (1918), Small pox (1974), Plague (1994), Swine Flu (2009) have had a great impact on the economy, the environment and all other human activities, such as Dairy, livestock, agriculture, transport, education, tourism, health, fishing, mining, production, commerce, etc. Currently, humankind is facing another pandemic, the infection of the new coronavirus (2019-nCoV) that produces the disease known as COVID-19. As on today the second wave of coronavirus is threatening India, people are in the fear of survival and expecting another lockdown. In this pandemic situation almost every one of us has a fair reason to get stressed. This paper is an attempt to study the causes of stress to the famers during COVID-19. The objective of this paper is to analyse thecasus of stressto farmers due to the impact of COVID-19 and lockdown and their level of psychological stress in Selected Districts of Tamil Nadu and suggest some measures to moderate the problems. Methodology: To study the casus of stressto farmers due the Coronavirus and the Lockdown, the researcher has selected Two Districts (Salem & Dharmapui) on convenient basis. The researcher has collected 350 samples through interview technique and collected secondary data from Press media. Findings: The researcher found, the famers are having stress due to factors like inadequate price for the product and so on. And the causes are differing based on gender and size of land possessed by the respondent. Conclusion:Soon we will come out form this pandemic situation; if at all Government will focus on the problems faced by the famers, it will leads to an another pandemic situation due to starving. Government should take necessary steps to moderate the stress causers and should do the needful to sort out the situation.

IMPACT OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT: TESTING THE MEDIATORY ROLE OF JOB SATISFACTION2020 •
This study analyzed direct and indirect effects of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. On the basis of previous studies, one exogenous variable (Emotional Intelligence) and two endogenous variables, i.e. job satisfaction, and organizational commitment were analyzed through structural model. The participants were 419 academic leaders in Tamil Nadu Universities. They were chosen through Stratified Purposive Random Sampling Method. The results of the study indicate that emotional intelligence direct and indirect effects on job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Moreover, emotional intelligence not only has a direct effect on job satisfaction, it also has an indirect effect on organizational commitment. Job satisfaction has a strong direct positive effect on organizational commitment. The mediatory role of job satisfaction in the effect of emotional intelligence on organizational commitment is confirmed in the study.

The Influence of Demographic Factors on the Job Involvement, Organisational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of Academic Leaders in the Tamil Nadu Universities2020 •
Background: Today academic institutions are facing extensive competition and every institution is in the situation to differentiate them form others. Obviously the core competence of educational instructions is the attitude of their faculties. Faculty’s level of involvement in their job, their level of satisfaction and their commitment towards the organisation is the competitive edge. This study is an investigation about the role or influence of demographic variables in crafting Job Involvement, Organisational Commitment and Job Satisfaction among Academic Leaders and upholding them. Methods: In this study the researcher aimed to study, the Influence of Demographic Factors on the Job Involvement, Organisational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of Academic Leaders in the Tamil Nadu Universities. For this purpose the researcher used descriptive research design and 419 samples were collected through purposive stratified random sampling technique. Findings: Based on the analysis the researcher find there is a significant relationship between the demographic factors and job involvement, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Age, designation has strong association, salary has partial association, qualification and experience has no association with job involvement, job satisfaction and organisational commitment. Conclusion: Academic Leaders’ motivation has more impact results based on effects of Job Involvement, Organisational Commitment and Job Satisfaction.

IMPACT OF JOB SATISFACTION ON ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AMONG THE ACADEMIC LEADERS OF TAMIL NADU UNIVERSITIES2020 •
Virtuous, enthusiastic, satisfied, involved and committed people are the actual assets of the organization. Without quality human resource nothing can ever be accomplished. Satisfaction in job and commitment towards the organization is the foundation for developing the above qualities in an individual. When it comes to academic leaders of universities, the study on job satisfaction and organizational commitment sounds more significant as they are the pillars of higher education system. So the researcher investigated the relationship and influence of job satisfaction on organizational commitment among the Academic Leaders of Tamil Nadu Universities. Job satisfaction is considered as the independent variable and organizational commitment is used as the dependent variable. 145 Data were gathered using purposive stratified random technique from the academic leaders of Tamil Nadu universities. To collect the job satisfaction and organizational commitment details self-administered questionnaire was used by the researcher. The collected data was analyzed with the tools like ANNOVA, Correlation and Regression. The researcher found positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

Role of Self-Actualization on Job Involvement, Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction of Academic Leaders in Tamil Nadu Universities2020 •
Background: In recent days importance of employees and their attitude on working place is getting massive attention of researchers. The psychological wellbeing and attitude of academic leaders is considered very much important as they directly influence the minds of young blood. Extensive research has been done to study the influence of involvement, satisfaction and commitment of academicians and academic leaders. And almost all of them are clear about the influence of those things. As job involvement, job satisfaction and organizational commitment as essential for organizational development, factors influencing those things are also gaining importance. Methodology: The researcher used descriptive research design. For collecting the primary data, Scott Barry Kaufman’s (2018) scale of self -actualization and self- administered scale on job involvement, job satisfaction and organizational commitment was used. Totally 213 samples were collected with the help of purposive stratified random sampling technique. Findings: The researcher fined significant influence of self –actualization factors on job satisfaction, job involvement and organizational commitment of academic leaders of Tamil Nadu Universities. Conclusion: The positive influence of self –actualization factors on job satisfaction, job involvement and organizational commitment of academic leaders should be taken as a case in point, and the researcher concludes, the focus on self- actualization of academicians and students will indirectly pave ways for improved economy. AN INVESTIGATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-ACTUALIZATION AND JOB SATISFACTION OF ACADEMIC LEADERS2020 •
Background: Job Satisfiers of academic people including academic leaders is bit different from the satisfiers of employees. According to past researches the common factors determining the employee’s Job Satisfaction are working environment, financial benefits, relationship with peer and superior (Gopinath,2016). But this is different in case of academic leaders, they need a kind of psychological satisfaction (Gopinath, 2020 a) and that would be the intrinsic factor determining the overall satisfaction. So when the academic institutions aim for their faculties Job Satisfaction, first they have to focus on the Academic Leader’s Self-Actualization. Objective: This paper is an attempt to identify the factorial influence of SelfActualization on Job Satisfaction of academic leaders. Methodology: The researcher used descriptive research design and collected 187 samples using continent stratified random sampling technique. Structural Equation Modeling was used to analyze the samples. Findings and Conclusion: The researcher found significant and prominent relationship between various dimensions of Self-Actualization and Job Satisfaction. It was concluded that the Job Satisfaction of academic leaders can be enhanced by giving training on Self-Actualization.

Job Involvement's Mediation Effect On Self- Actualization With Job Satisfaction2020 •
Back Ground: Self-actualization factors equanimity is the major influencing factor on job involvement and Continued Freshness of Appreciation is the next most influencing factor of job involvement.The prominence of self-actualization in organizational environment especially related to job satisfaction, job involvement and organizational commitment. Self-Actualization has strong influence in determining job satisfaction, job involvement. The purpose of the study to know the relationship between the self-actualization, job involvement and job satisfaction. Methods/Statistical Analysis: 30% respondents choose by stratified purposive random sampling method and in SEM model, AMOS 20 used in this study. Findings: Based on the results of the study, Job Involvement has mediation effect between job satisfaction and self-actualization. Conclusion: The researcher concluded that self-actualization is a vital contribution to job involvement and influences job satisfaction.

A Study on Relationship Between Knowledge Management and Occupational Stress2021 •
Background: In today's scenario every individual is multi-faceted, the number of dimensions has increased comparatively. But they are not different in each dimension, they are the same. This conflict and contradiction in role playing have made them though, and the requirement of perfectionism in every role has imposing lot of pressure on them, which pave ways to Occupational Stress. Every face of an individual demands a unique set of knowledge to perform the task and being good in doing that. This paper is an attempt whether acquisition and management of knowledge has any relationship with the stress caused by work and either the Occupational Stress has influenced by the Knowledge Management or not. Methodology: The population of the study includes the total selected faculty members of state university (N=412) out of them 180 were selected as samples using random sampling technique. Knowledge Management Survey and Occupational Stress Questionnaire developed by England Institute of Health and Safety were used to collect the primary data. Findings: The results of correlation and regression analysis explain a positive relationship and significant influence of Knowledge Management on Occupational Stress. Conclusion: It can be concluded that faculties' apprehension of enhancement of Knowledge Management increases their level of Occupational Stress.

Investigation of Relationship between Self-Actualization and Job Satisfaction among Academic Leaders in Tamil Nadu Universities2020 •
This paper examines the impact of Self-actualization on the job satisfaction of academic leaders of universities of Tamil Nadu. Acceptance, authenticity, purpose, efficient perception of reality, humanitarianism, good moral intuition, creative spirit, peak experiences, equanimity and continued freshness of appreciation are the factors used to measure the self-actualization. Association of these factors with job satisfaction was studied. 124 samples were collected using stratified purposive random sampling technique. The researcher find there were positive and significant relationships between Job Satisfaction and Self-Actualization with academic leaders of Tamil Nadu Universities.
