A buckle plate in open-work-technique, discovered on a late Slavonic settlement, is showing a mans fight against a lion. Only few similar items are known from westeurope. Stylistic and iconographic details were discussed on the historic background of late slavic elites and western colonists at the turn from late 12th to early 13th century.
