Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, 1883

The Paris Convention was signed in Paris, France, on March 20th, 1883 and the Convention became effective July 7, 1884. The laws brought forth by this Convention are still in force, and they are administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), whose headquarters is located in Geneva, Switzerland
