Fatigue is a universally shared experience and a significant component of rheumatologic diseases. The fact that rheumatologic patients experience fatigue that negatively affects their quality of life has been well documented. What is less... more
Molecular recognition sites on cell membranes serve as the main communication channels between the inside of a cell and its surroundings. Upon receptor binding, celular messages such as ion channel opening or activation of enzymes are... more
We examine some numerical iterative methods for computing the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of real matrices. The five methods examined here range from the simple power iteration method to the more complicated QR iteration method. The... more
A beta expansion is the analogue of the base 10 representation of a real number, where the base may be a non-integer. Although the greedy beta expansion of 1 using a non-integer base is in general infinitely long and non-repeating, it is... more

There exist no odd perfect numbers.
Perfect numbers are defined as equal to twice the sum of all the divisors.

Here we discus the cardinality of Sigma Star which is the number of finite strings overs a {0,1} binary alphabet. It is popularly believed to be countable, but I show that it is otherwise.
Here I discuss a types of numbers I call Mersenne Variants which are of the form s^n+/-c where n,s are greater than one. Primality tests of these numbers using modified Lucas-Lehmer tests are discussed in this paper.
