This is demonstrated by an indirect set of data about the participation of Venus and Moon in both the opening and closing of 13 Bak'tun cycle, something that is possible only if it measures 5,128 years and 280 days. This favors the proposal that the relay of cardinal year-bearers announces, in a qualitative manner, that the last quarter day has been included after the quantitative measurement of the 365 k'ins, thus producing the total measurement of a solar year cycle. In other words, the assumption that the inclusion of the leap day must be considered on the Long Count needs to be reconsidered.

That same date was chosen by the creators of the Long Count for the completion of 13 Bak'tun, the cycle of the civilization of Corn. May 3, 2013, saw evening Venus and Moon in almost identical configuration as at the onset of 13 Bak'tun, just as narrated in three independent hieroglyphic passages pertaining to Lamat, Deity Jun Yee GI, and the Moon.

Based on the premise that the 260-day cycle is panmesoamerican, and using the correlation system published in 2013, the author is able to demonstrate that the 52-year segment in Códice Huichapan is registered in the Otomi style through indirect astronomic and ethnohistoric tests. The position of the tonal that names the Mexica year is identified as being 364, on February 10, and the position of the day that names the Otomi year is 359, on March 22. The inauguration of the Mexica year on February 12, 1 Izcalli, is solidly confirmed, as is the starting of the Otomi year on March 29, 0 Anttzayo, both of which are dates of alignments of monuments in the Central Mexican Plateau.

This original version has been recovered by the author through an independent procedure that focuses on the astronomical configuration of Venus and Moon at the opening and closing of 13 Bak'tun and the role of year bearers in keeping the haab calibrated with the Sun. This paper presents the mechanics of a syncretic system in the Kaua for the auguries of Christian years given by artificial year bearers located within the first trecena occurring at the beginning of January for two full series of thirteen years (1796 - 1821). Additionally, it provides a full explanation of the use of 1 Kan and 12 enero for 1796 in the Table of Day Coefficients and a reading of the Table of Tun Endings and Haab Cycles.
