This thesis approaches the subject of Androgyny in fashion photography, by using it as a specific component of the fashion scenario, an instrument to observe and analyze the phenomenon of androgyny as the revival of archaic features intrinsic to the culture. In this sense, the goal is to relate the androgynous figure, to its main characteristics such as accessories, gestures and clothing, with a form of behaviour that is gaining momentum and has both a larger visibility and legibility in the contemporary world. With this aim, the idea of androgyny appearing and disappearing throughout history is discussed, as well as the role of fashion and digital media in distributing images in today’s world as evidence of the return of the androgynous image and its prominence in the construction of the imaginary surrounding a unique gender, or neutral gender. In particular, I analyze photographic essays of fashion publications that have androgynous content and are available on the internet.
dissenting gender identities. Starting with sixty-five movies chosen along five years. Subsequently, a selection was made from each movie’s characters, finally leading to two movies, which will be analyzed in this article. Based on the concepts of social construction of gender presented by Butler and Young, as well as Edgar Morin’s projection-identification, this article intends to identify recurrent characteristics among the selected characters. The hypothesis is that the social construction of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transsexual characters, commonly seen in these movies, frequently presents themes such as drugs, crime, homicide, diseases and sexual violence, as well as the hyper-sexualization of both bodies and practices. It is as if such individuals, when represented, were high-risk existences, always in danger, and as if this condition of risk was inherent to such sexual identities. It is possible that such recurrence is transformed into a device, used for conditioning and controlling the place and role of LGBTQIA+ individuals, keeping this part of the population on an eternal
exclusion cycle. Among the objectives of this article are: to indicate the
component aspects of the symbolic construction of gender that can interfere in individual gender identity; to identify on the characters of those narratives such characteristics and highlight the recurrent ones; to establish a connection between the symbolic construction of the analyzed characters and some of the sexual practices of the dissenting sexual identities; to review these recurrent narratives and envision possible alternatives. In addition to the bibliographic review, the selected movies were analyzed with a focus on the characters. Therefore, it was possible to examine the influence that this kind of product has over the construction of the collective imaginary regarding dissenting sexual identities and to approach new paths that contribute to the visibility and the effective participation of LGBT communities on the cultural and social-political processes.
ABSTRACT: The present article develops a reflection about the pornographic films transmitted and distributed through the internet, the reproduction of patterns, bodies and subjectivities far from reality and how these can negatively influence social relations. We see in pornography the possibility of understanding and, through a reformulation in its modes of production, of proposing a space of correct social representation. We also perceive the need for studies that use pornography as an object of social and representative understanding. We suggest the understanding of the stereotypes that are created in pornography and thought about the change of these.

The article talks about the symbolic and systemic violence practiced against women through online media. We start from the premise that improper sharing of images and private content by digital media constitutes a new form of violence that affects, above all, women and girls, and should be investigated. We try to compose the picture of gender violence to then transpose certain characteristics for the online environment, thus composing the scenario where the research will be developed; Recuero and Sibilia are references to us. The objective was to establish relationships that give us the basis to typify and categorize the different online gender violence through documentary research in the news disseminated in the Brazilian press between 2016 and 2017. We believe that we have expanded the understanding and composition of data on the phenomenon of online gender violence in Brazil.
