The implementation of new digital technologies could enable tourism firms' transformation and improve organisational performance. Although the prior literature discusses the benefits of digital transformation, the measurement of its impact on organisational performance is still vague. Thus, the aim of this study is to evaluate the level of CEOs, CIOs and other senior executives' satisfaction from digital transformation and its effects on performance. A multicriteria user satisfaction analysis was applied to measure executives' satisfaction. The results revealed that the average level of overall satisfaction is high indicating that CIOs and other senior executives are somehow satisfied regarding the effects of digital transformation on organisational performance in the Greek tourism industry. However, they should pay attention to some aspects in order to improve strategic planning of digital transformation and increase the organisational performance.

As a result, these businesses are obligated to respond to the epidemic in an efficacious manner. In order to weather this economic storm, micro-enterprises have implemented a variety of digital technologies. Methods: The research investigates the connection between the communications technology of driving schools and the public crisis responses of those driving schools using a data set obtained from a survey administered to those schools. Results: The quantitative findings demonstrate that digitalization has made it possible for driving schools to efficiently and successfully respond to the public dilemma by utilizing their resilient functionality. In addition, digitalization can greatly enhance driving schools’ performance. Conclusions: This paper provides drawings for digitalization and crisis responses for driving schools.

Managers do not know which factors are really key ingredients for the innovation process and how to allocate their resources to improve the success of service projects. This article aims to develop a predictive model which identifies the critical factors that impact the success of New Service Development (NSD) and promotes the entrepreneurial ecosystems in hospitality. In‐depth, systematic interviews with hotel managers from all over Greece, based on questionnaires, were used to look into a total of 178 service projects. Factor and discriminant analysis were employed to evaluate the relative significance of the important factors of successful NSD and to determine whether new hotel services in Greece will succeed or fail. This research led to the creation of a prediction model that takes into account the unique qualities of services and can highlight the difference between new hotel services that are successful and those that aren't, which support managers to improve the NSD process, increase service performance and therefore enhance entrepreneurial ecosystems. The findings conclude that hotels offering more successful innovative services enhance specific ecosystem‐related value. In the context of tourism, which mainly contributes to the Greek economy, service innovation might bring a competitive advantage to all the entities involved increasing the collaboration among actors, the level of employment and hotels' competitive advantage.

The new service process is not so well studied and researched as new product development, and as a result the failure rate is high. However in order to survive in the market place, service organisations need to make the most of all of their resources in order to introduce new services to market ahead of the competition. The purpose of this exploratory study is to investigate the factors that have impact on success and failure in new service development (NSD) in the telecommunication (TLC) sector. The results of the exploratory study are summarized in a conceptual model for further research.

Ubiquitous computing has been investigated since 1993. As a result, current efforts in research and development in the areas of Next Generation Internet and Telecommunications Technologies promote the formation of inter-disciplinary international teams of experts, scientists, researchers and engineers to create a new generation of applications and technologies that will facilitate the fully-automated information cyberspace systems, such as Future House 2015. The authors discuss the current state-of-the-art in the world of Telecommunications and Internet Technologies, new technological trends in the Internet and Automation Industries, E-manufacturing, Ubiquity, Convergence, as well as the concept of the Fully-automated Future House 2015, the 2006 Web Report with the Microsoft project on Easy Living, while promoting research and development in the interdisciplinary projects conducted by multinational teams world-wide.
