Blend of polyvinyl acetate (PVA) and Toluene diisocyanate (TDI) were mixed with different percentages by weight of sulfonated phenol-formaldehyde (SPF) foam of prepared sulfonated phenol-formaldehyde resin. The measured mechanical properties such as the tensile modulus (E t ) values are (107, 43.7, 84.7, 424 and 165) MPa, for samples (1, 6, 7, 8 and 9). Tensile strength (? M ) before break are (0.923, 1.21, 5.56, 6.43 and 8.65) MPa, maximum force applied on the specimen number (9) is 355 N.  More information of the article can be found in the full paper.

Abstract: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was prepared from (PET) flakes and 25% of NaOH solution were added to in tri-neck flask, the reaction run for six hours at temperature (100-130) o C and the precipitate was reacted with ethylene glycol at temperature (130-160) o C. IR spectrophotometer was used for the diagnoses of (PET). Differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) is used to indicate glass transition temperature Tg, the melting temperature Tm and the heat absorbed. Part hundred ratios (phr , s) of (PET) rather than dosage of PET in gms. To concrete cubes were added to study its effect on concrete properties. Additives of (phr,s) impart performance such as increased cement dispersion, and enhance the performance of concrete which was appeared in maintaining a lengthening or slow the setting time that meets product and job needs. Maximum and minimum compressive strength is 43.7 MPa and 30.0 MPa at 0.3 gm. and 0.1 gm. respectively.

Manufactured polyethylene terephthalate (PET) was mixed with different percentages by weight of DL-Alanine. PET and DL-Alanine diagnosis has been done by FTIR spectrophotometer. The electrical measurement has been done at applied dc voltage 5 volt and has been calculated. The dielectric properties have been measured and calculated. The measured dielectric properties are the quality factor (Q), dissipation factor (D), parallel resistance (Rp), series resistance (Rs), Impedance (Z), parallel capacitance (Cp), series capacitance (Cs) and phase angle (Φ). The calculated minimum and maximum electrical conductivity is 3.7*10 Λ -7 S m -1 for sample (1) wt1% dl-alanine to polyethylene terephthalate weight and 787.5 S m -1 for sample (4) wt7.5% dl-alanine to polyethylene terephthalate weight.
