Improving the performance of technical institutes is a global concern, and building the criteria produces indicators or measures that are able to support the facts, and facilitate their description, and help to guide the decision. This paper came to build criteria by which digital indicators or measures can be found that reduce the margin of diligence in a manner that increases accuracy and fairness in the evaluation and what distinguishes these criteria as they remain effective in the case of changing the degrees of hubs or adding new hubs, and that the proposed evaluation model includes of nine main hubs, whose grades are divided on each hub according to its relative importance, as the total score is (100) degrees, and the paper also included the evaluation mechanism. Meanwhile, the paper results a set of conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which are: 1. Raising the efficiency of the performance of technical institutes by creating a positive competition between the institutions and that the use of indicators makes the decision more correct and away or reduce the margin of diligence. 2. Can benefits from the feedback for the purpose of the amendment in a way that is compatible with the latest changes by applying proposed model

This study aimed to examine the relationship between knowledge donating and the triangular dimensions of Teamwork at the top, and to achieve this goal, the researcher conducted a survey study on a sample of its members (100) of the telecommunications company, and the number of valid forms (84) and the (84 % ) A total of 16 % of the forms are invalid. In the study of the influence of knowledge donating in the triangular dimensions of Teamwork at the top, the researcher used statistical methods to analyze the data and test hypotheses, including using the statistical program SPSS to analyze the data and descriptive statistical methods to classify the expectations of the individuals. The results show that knowledge donating variables are significant in improving team performance and that knowledge donating has a direct impact on team performance.

This study seeks at applying the speech act theory in medical text by undergraduate EFL learners in Nasiriya province. It delves into discourse analysis of some selected medical reports . It aims at analyzing the speech acts to get conceptualization of the medical texts understudy. The study also wants to explain how the speech acts can be manipulating to the medical texts understudy. In addition to that, Showing how effectively the text is achieved by those speech acts and how clearly that four major categories of illocutionary communicative acts : constative, directives, commissives, acknowledgment applied in the text .Finally, The findings arrived at in this study involve the use of indirect spoken acts which are more favoured in the production of speech than direct spoken acts

English in Nigeria is a medium of instruction and a tool that bridges the communication gap stemmed from the multilingual and multicultural nature of the country and other multifaceted problems associated with learning in a foreign language. When learners are denied access to the only means of instruction, employment opportunities and other paths to greatness are compromised. For over a decade, the educational system of Northern Nigeria has been embroiled and teaching of English language clogged. This study aims to report the activities of an insurgency group, popularly known as Boko Haram and Bandits in Northern Nigeria on the education system and the resultant effects on teaching English Language to students and the professional developments of English teachers. The study generates data through a questionnaire administered to twenty one English teachers in Northern Nigeria through Google forms and the reports of Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attacks (GCPEA). The statistical analyses of the data reveal vulnerability of female students and teachers than their male counterparts due to armed conflicts. The study further reveals incidents of anxiety on teachers and learners, closure and militarization of some schools and other traumatic experiences that inhibited teaching and learning of English in Northern Nigeria. While this study underscores government‟s appropriate programmes and policies to support English teacher‟s professional development and the teaching of English to children who are out of school due to the nefarious activities of Boko Haram and Bandits, and their impacts in achieving desirable performance goals in English, it could not report efforts the Nigerian government has employed in ameliorating the menace. The pedagogic implication of this study is that loss of performance skills in a target language is possible when learners have not gained remarkable mastery in all levels of language study. Again, in the next twenty years, only few Northern Nigerians would be good users of English in a country where the economic and social resource greatly depend on mastery of English

The notions of what is male and what is female are cultural conceptions into which all human beings are placed. These conceptions form a sex-gender view in African culture. This study examines the concept of gender and sex in Akachi Ezeigbo‟s trilogy using survey method. It was discovered among other things that Ezeigbo is using these literary texts as a medium to seek for the end of oppression of women in the world outside the texts. This work analyzed issues in Akachi Ezeigbo‟s trilogy from a female point of view as Njoku (2004:277) asserts, “Feminist criticism engages issues from the female point of view which reflects the changing nature of society and highlights the protest of a marginalized group (women)”. Akachi Ezeigbo's trilogy is therefore seen as a message of hope to all oppressed women in Africa; that women are already in the ascent and that total liberation is possible and at the threshold. The “benign way” to survive being the pathway of sound education and economic empowerment of women. These will help to facilitate the “coming salvation.

The study, empirically examines the nexus among public health expenditure (PHE), environmental pollution, governance (QoG) and health status in Nigeria using annual time series data spanning from 1981-2020. Autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approach and two stage least square (2SLS) techniques were utilized. Data on PHE, environmental pollution captured by CO2 emission and governance (QoG) measured by corruption perception index (CPI) were regressed on infant mortality rate (IMR) and under five mortality rates (U5MR) as measures for health status. Generally, there is evidence of long-run association between the various variables in the respective model specification. The results reveal (i) a negative and significant effect of PHE on both health status, implying that a 1% increase in PHE reduces IMR and U5MR by 0.03%; (ii) a significant and negative effect of CO2 emissions on health status, which imply that a 1% increase in CO2 emissions will reduce U5MR and IMR respectively by approximately 0.05%. (iii) QoG measured by CPI has a negative though statistically insignificant effect on health status, showing that a percent increase in CPI approximately decreases IMR and U5MR by 0.03%, (iv) a negative and significant effect of GDP per capita on health status which imply that economic growth is associated with an improvement in the health status of the population. Here a percent increase in per capita income reduces IMR and U5MR by 0.43 and 0.49 percentage point respectively. The study recommends that there is need for policymakers in developing countries like Nigeria to aggressively deploy fiscal policy to boost allocations on public health expenditure and ensure progress across all four pillars of sustainable development through good governance devoid of corruption in term of misallocation of public resources, poor management and better institutions as these are essential for both individual and societal well-being..

This paper systematically reviews randomized controlled trial evidence of the effectiveness of parental interventions for problems and issues in children with ADHD. A comprehensive review of randomized controlled trials or non-randomized but properly controlled trials involving children with ADHD or high levels of ADHD symptoms was conducted. This systematic analysis focuses on parent-administered behavioural interventions for ADHD children. Eight studies met the review's inclusion criteria. This review found that parent-administered behavioural interventions improved ADHD symptom outcomes in children. Parent-administered behaviour interventions generally reduced ADHD symptoms and behavioural issues. These results confirm clinical practice recommendations and imply that parental treatments are efficacious. Therefore, the availability of parenting interventions should be ensured to deal with behavioural problems and issues among children with ADHD.

Article focuses on methods of evaluating curricula for the intermediate stage, determining e-learning requirements when preparing the content of computer curricula. The study is aimed to evaluate the computer curriculum for first intermediate grade from the viewpoint of computer teachers in the Religious Education and Islamic Schools in Iraq, during the academic year 2021-2022. In this study we have used the descriptive analytical, the study has included (68) samples of teachers, who have chosen randomly from the study community, which numbered (245) teachers and supervisors. We used the questionnaire as a research tool, that included (5) main axes, and included under it (53) paragraphs, which were judged and ensured its validity and reliability to infer the results, and was considered as a standard for the study. The study concluded that there is a weakness in the practical aspect of the computer curriculum for the first intermediate grade, and the lack of training activities in it, in addition to the shortcomings in its objectives that do not meet the needs of students. The study found a list of E-learning requirements that must be available in its components and used in determining the level of meeting the computer curriculum at this stage, with an indication of the strengths and weaknesses of the current curriculum. The study indicated that most teachers are not satisfied with the content of the current curriculum, which has been updated for more than 8 years ago.

This study aims to evaluate the effects of inquiry based learning (IBL) on Nigeria students' oral and written communication skills. One hundred and twenty (120) first year undergraduate students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Nigeria were purposively chosen for the study. Pre-test and post-test results elicited through marking of their written rubrics with four scale range values (Content, Expression, Coherency, and Mechanical Accuracy) and students' perceptions on their experiences on inquiry-based activities and presentations were used to generate data for analysis. The participants were divided into six member groups with topics related to their courses to investigate, write and present to students' audience. Each group was given series of two different topics before and after inquiry based instruction to assess their written and oral communication skills. While the quantitative data were analyzed using one-way repeated measures ANOVA, the qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. The findings of the study show significant increase in post-test results of respondents after a careful inquiry-based pedagogy both for weak and non-weak students. Although inquiry based learning activities create initial untold fear among students from their perception; engaging them in IBL engenders learner autonomy, facilitates strong interpersonal oral and written communicative skills and promotes collaboration. Content analyses reveal IBL as an approach that enhances active participation, deep content knowledge, classroom relationships and promotes sense of responsibility which are vital communication skills. Therefore, inquiry based instruction is suggested to totally replace the traditional lecture method of teaching and should be used in oral and written communication classrooms.

In this research, we identify and deepen the impact and influence of the non-state armed groups on the democratization process in deep-divided societies such as the Iraqi society. At the beginning of the paper, we look at the Kurdish force (Peshmerga) and Shia armed groups (Popular Mobilization Forces-PMF) and assess their legal basis from the Iraqi Post-2003 constitution. Then the role these groups will play in strengthening and supporting a democratic transition also will be discussed in detail. The main question in our paper is to determine the role these mentioned armed groups will play in Post-2014 Iraq, how they will contribute to preserving political stability, and also which position they will take in the democratic transition process. Shia armed groups limited to different levels of roles have been considered, and their influences on human rights, national goals, and corruption in Iraq have also been discussed.

Although researchers have found project based learning (PBL) as a strategy with strong significant effect on academic achievements in English among second language learners, less is highlighted about how motivation and group work impact the facilitation of this pedagogic method amidst the challenges of its implementation in current classrooms. Previous works lacked empirical evidence for the mediating role of motivation and group work in the relationship. This study examined the pathways through which second language (L2) learning skills and life skills were improved through PBL via the mediators. One hundred first year students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Nigeria were subjected to various authentic problem-solving, critical thinking and life skills through the mediators. Data were generated through the instrument of direct projects and report writing on learners' perception of working in groups and their motivation to achieve academic projects. The projects were scored using the scales of originality of projects, aesthetic value, and the surface assessment of durability of projects. Results showed no record of low performance of learners with PBL. Content analysis of learners' perception on PBL, analysed in simple percentages revealed that the effects of motivation and group work were direct on L2 achievements and eliminate anxiety, group dynamics issues, time wastage and irregularity learning associated with PBL implementation. The results suggest that project based instruction impacts L2 achievements when students are motivated and are engaged with language activities through group/ team work.

This study examines the role of storytelling in literacy building and critical thinking skills among second language learners. Researchers have established strong significant relationship between storytelling and imaginative literary appreciation and achievements but less is known about how this pedagogic tool can enhance second language learners' writing and reading skills. This is quasi-experimental research which purposively chose one hundred primary schools students divided into control and experimental groups. The experimental group was given literacy instruction through storytelling while the control had their instruction without the variable. The effect of storytelling on the learners' outcomes was measured through observation, and post tests administered to the two groups to measure their reading and writing abilities. Results showed that the students in the experiment class showed curiosity in reading the assigned passages and scored higher than their counterparts in the control group. Results further showed that students in the experiment class were curious to discuss and write about their understanding of the story thereby increasing their oral communication skills than their counterparts. Results suggest inquiry-based instruction through storytelling as key to developing critical thinking, reading and communication skills among second/foreign language learners.

This study deals with the impact of artistic transformation in children's literature on the activation of the child's dramatic sense in his relationship with the text via cartoon art as a sensory translation of body language. The study will present three Palestinian literary model writers from three generations: Tawfiq Fayyad, in his story Haifa was al-Nawras; Yahya Yakhluf, in his story Saq al-Qasab, and Najwa Zoreq, in her story Imlaq Amir Al-Saghir. The three models adopt an artistic method that is specific to the publishing house that published their stories. The research methodology tries to answer the following questions by creating a confrontation between two cartoon models versus a model with the technology of realistic expressionism: 1.Is the artistic transformation of children's stories a preplanned plan by the Arab publishing houses that is accomplished by a professional artist? 2. How does the stylistic technique of caricature art raise the children's mental interaction? The study aims to achieve two goals: first, to determine the artistic stylistic technique of the child's language and the cartoon art as a transformation reference, and second: to motivate the publishing houses to give more weight in their publications to the child's pleasure over their profitable interests

Since the Middle Ages, drama has started as a simple wagon in the marketplace with unprofessional actors who acted occasionally to serve religion\the Church. By later centuries, dramatic actions steadily developed; and their growing popularity encouraged the construction of theatre buildings to host the increasing numbers of the audiences. Hence the simple facts about drama have therefore been settled: no audience or drama student can ever imagine these facts would ever change, until Covid-19 has unexpectedly undermined the drama simple facts as well as radically changed that. Concerning theatre, the current situations, however, have forced drama to evolve without actors appearing physically onstage. As a communal act, the theatre can hardly stop: human communication is one haven of man to escape one's loneliness, but such need is not expected to be part of man's surroundings. Hence, when drama resumes work, it does so cautiously. Richard Nelson's postmodern play, The Apple Family: A Pandemic Trilogy, is a play that is acted through Zoom screens, utilizing the cyberspace instead of‫م‬ the theatre. The curtains are replaced by a "sign out" or the dimming of the screen of the character. Characters chat through those screens, no more "aside" or audience-actor interaction. Theatre has become cinema-like in that it lost the physical existence of both actors and audience. There is no action as the plays remind us of Becket, Ionesco and Pinter. The postwar depression and dehumanization that led to the emergence of the absurd is happening all over again with COVID-19.

Self-monitoring interventions show promise in helping to remediate academic and behavioral challenges for students with attentiondeficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The current study used an ABAB reversal single-case research design to evaluate the effectiveness of a self-monitoring intervention for decreasing off-task behavior exhibited by a second grader with ADHD. The student was taught to self-monitor her task engagement using a MotiveAider™, an electronic device that vibrates at predetermined intervals (MotiveAider™, 2000). Results indicated that upon the implementation of the self-monitoring intervention, the student's off-task behavior decreased from a mean of 53% to less than 10% in all the intervals observed. The results indicated that the self-monitoring procedure was associated with a decrease in talking to peers and being distracted with learning materials. However, the intervention was least effective in decreasing out-of-seat behavior. Limitations, implications, and future directions are discussed.

This paper deals with analysing the film "Partition" 2007 that portrays the actions of violence and hatred between the two nations, Islamic, from one side, and Sikh and Hinduism, from the other side, during the partition of the Indian subcontinent into India and Pakistan. This kind of film often addresses the problems that are consequences of colonial activities of the European countries on colonized nations. In fact, this hatred is one of the outcomes of British colonialism which was responsible for raising the racism between Muslim and other groups of Hindi society. It is known that analysing a film may deal with one of the following aspects of the author's work: the characters, the theme, the form, and the language. This paper is going to analyse the film 'partition' focusing on the themes mentioned in this film. This analysis will help in understanding the real relationship between Indian people and British, and between Hindus, Sikhs, and Muslims. Moreover, this paper will show the effects of the process of the partition upon the people of India till nowadays. This paper includes an introduction and three sections. In the first section, the writer presents the definitions of some postcolonial terms with their applications in the film. The second introduces India before and after the partition to give the reader more comprehension about the reasons for the partition. Section three includes a summary of the film 'partition' and the analysis of the themes that Vic Sarin addressed in the film. This paper found that the attempts of Britain to create racial segregation among Indian people succeeded in achieving some and failed in other goals.
