In this paper, we discuss terrorism as an adversity to global security, with special emphasis on Kosovo. The presented data shows that today, terrorism poses a risk to more than half of the world’s population. Although a small country, Kosovo, has not been left out of this negative societal phenomenon. More specifi cally, according to international reports, the threat and danger to Kosovo from Islamic extremism has increased; it is supported and partially funded by foreign organisations that propagate extremist ideology and violent extremist groups which use social networks in a very active way to propagate and recruit their followers. This paper examines the findings of a research conducted in the Gjilan area over the previous five years on the extent of crime by socioeconomic origin (mostly offenders of criminal acts in six towns) (ALFA, BETA, GAMMA, DELTA, and EPSILON). The location of the examination in the Gjilan area is given additional emphasis mostly in methodological portion. We incorporated words that more accurately characterize the studied issue and its interpretative position in the observed occurrence in the study and discussion outcomes. n its origins, customary law is a product of tribal order, which
lacked a genuine state organization and institutions to create and
enforce the law (Pëllumbi, 2006). Albanian customary law (ACL) is
one of the oldest and most exceptional bodies of European
customary law. It is exceptional that it does not come from
a legislator or state parliament, but it was transmitted across
generations in its unwritten form since antiquity. ACL has been
applied in Albanian territories alongside various state laws
implemented by locals or invaders. The purpose of this paper is to
bring closer the scientific knowledge regarding the application of
customary law from the ancient period to the new time. This
knowledge brings scientific data regarding the originality or
the influence of the customary rights of foreign people on ACL.
This paper, by using the comparative methods, theoretical and
meta-analysis methods (Maloku, 2020), will present the views of
some foreign and local authors on customary law throughout
history, and in particular in the Kanun of Lekë Dukagjini (KLD) as
a fundamental source of ACL. The KLD has had the greatest
longevity. Japanese anthropologist Kazuhiko Yamamoto
considered the KLD to be similar to ancient Japanese customary
law and Homeric-era law (Yamamoto, 2015). This paper contributes
to the existing scientific literature, especially in the legal field.
Moreover, this paper can contribute to the work of criminologists,
victimologists, sociologists, and historians of the rule of law who
deal with the research on the impact of customary law in
Albanian lands.

The research problem is the importance of scientific theory and theories in the scientific study of genocide. The main objective and purpose of the work are to enable, through an appropriate, correct, and scientifically verified methodological approach, the acquisition of real scientific knowledge about the study of a very complex social phenomenon-genocide-and the contribution of scientific theory to this research, builds a separate scientific discipline-the science of genocide. The main results of the work are prerequisites for successful genocide research and the formation of a special science that would deal with this problem, it is necessary to develop theory and scientific theory as a basis for the development of genocide science because the underdevelopment of theoretical assumptions reflects the development of methodological empirical research and the limited use of research procedures, methods, and techniques. If the theoretical basis of empirical research is weaker, then the source of research knowledge is limited. This suggests that there is a direct causal relationship with the research results obtained, which calls into question their value and validity. The research conducted in this thesis has the characteristics of scientific theoretical research, which is necessarily qualitative in nature. As it is theoretical research of a qualitative nature, the qualitative method of document content analysis is mainly applied as one of the methods of data collection. In addition to this method, all the basic analytical-synthetic methods will be used as individual methods and in certain combinations, correlations, and relationships as necessary, as well as the hypothetico-deductive, axiomatic and comparative methods of the group of general scientific methods. The study will add to and complete the body of scientific information on genocide research.

The purpose of this article is to discuss the application of some special institutes of Kanun of Lekë Dukagjini in contemporary law of Albanians. Traditionally, this kanun has had and still remains to have impact in all fields of the life of Albanians. In other words, the application of this kanun still challenge the modern legal system as a consequence that people continue to solve their misunderstandings based on this kanun. Through this article is aimed to be made clear the written customary law and to be pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of its application and the connection with some rules of public (criminal) law and private (civil) law.
