Bu çalışma, genel anlamda bireylerin, özel anlamda ise sosyal hizmet kurumuna başvuran bireylerin, kuruma başvurmadan önce yaşadıkları sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek deneyimlerini konu almaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, bireylerin sosyal hizmet kurumuna başvurmadan önce yaşadıkları sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek deneyimi ile kuruma başvurma hikâyeleri arasındaki ilişkiyi anlamaktır. Bu çalışmada analiz birimi, bireylerin profesyonel sosyal hizmet desteğine başvurma durumuyla, bu sınırlı durum içinde yaşadıkları sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek tecrübeleri, deneyimleri ve eğilimleridir.

Sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek sosyal ilişkiler içinde elde edilmektedir. Kişilerarası sosyal iletişim ağlarına odaklanılan bu çalışmanın öngörüsü, bireylerin sosyoekonomik ve sosyokültürel konumunun, sahip olduğu, erişebildiği sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek potansiyelini etkileyeceğidir. Bu bakımdan çalışmada, araştırmada belirlenen kırsal simgeleri barındıran, sosyoekonomik ve sosyokültürel açıdan dezavantajlı bireylerle; kentsel simgeleri barındıran, sosyoekonomik ve sosyokültürel açıdan avantajlı bireylerin sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek deneyim durumları iki aykırı durum çalışması altında ele alınmıştır. Bu husus yapısal konumların, bireylerin sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek potansiyeline etkilerini gösterirken, çalışmada aynı zamanda sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek potansiyeli üzerinde eylemin de etkinliği kabul edilerek, yapı-eylem etkileşimli odak çalışmaya entegre edilmiştir. Çalışma, Sultanbeyli ve Kadıköy bölgesine hizmet veren, ilk başvuru taleplerinin alındığı sosyal hizmet merkezlerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir.

Çalışmada, sosyoekonomik ve sosyokültürel açıdan avantajlılık ve dezavantajlılık durumunun bireylerin sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek potansiyellerini etkilediği görülmüştür. Bu durum özellikle maddi destek konusunda kendisini göstermiştir. Diğer yandan bireylerin avantajlı konumuna rağmen, bilinçli eylemleri ile ağındaki kaynakları hareketlendiremediği ya da dezavantajlı konumuna rağmen zayıf ağlarla kurduğu etkileşim sonucu bilinçli eylemleriyle kaynaklara ulaşabildiği de araştırma bulgularında elde edilmiştir. Araştırmada bireylerin, kuruma başvurmadan önce sosyal sermaye ve sosyal destek potansiyellerini kullanma eğiliminde oldukları, “çaresizlik”, “dayanamama” gibi sebeplerden ötürü kuruma yöneldikleri saptanmıştır.

In dieser Arbeit wurde die Entwicklung von CSR in der Turkei eruiert. In diesem Zusammenhang wurde untersucht, auf welche Art und Weise CSR entstand, wie es sich entwickelt, was man darunter versteht und von welchen Faktoren das CSR-Verstandnis abhangt. In diesem Sinne hat die geschichtliche Rechtfertigung in Bezug auf das Thema eine breite Perspektive geboten, um das CSR-Verstandnis benennen zu konnen. Ein weiteres Ziel der Arbeit war es, einen Blick auf die weltweite Entwicklung des CSR zu werfen, zu untersuchen, was man unter diesem Begriff versteht und welche Bereiche er beinhaltet. Dieses Ziel hat uns die Moglichkeit gege¬ben, den Rahmen des CSR-Verstandnisses in der Turkei unter der Beruck¬sichtigung internationaler wie auch europaischer Initiativen und Vereinbarungen zu bewerten. Sosyal destegin sosyal iliskiler icinde elde edildigi dusunuldugunde, sosyal sorunlarla toplumsal iliskilerin dogasi hakkinda bag kurmak onemlidir.  Sosyal destek mekanizmalari- es, aile- akraba, arkadas-tanidik, komsuluk -ayni zamanda bazi kaynaklarda sosyal ag olarak gorulmesinden dolayi- kulturel ve dini cemaatler de sayilmaktadir. Guclu sosyal aglar ve sosyal destek mekanizmalari sosyal sorunlarin onlenmesinde ve cozumlenmesinde onemli bir referans noktasidir. The aim of the research was to identify and define the role of social media on social movements with a focus on the social media usage during the Gezi Park Protests between 30 th May 2013 and 20 th June 2013, in Istanbul as a case study. In this study both questionnaire and interview methods were used by the researcher in collecting the primary data. From the results, it was understood that people who are against the protests and used social media during the turmoil, supported the protests with staying in the park, and supported through social media but not stayed in the park were all mostly a young people. Nevertheless, in terms of the gender, it was identified that people who did not supported the Gezi Park Protests were mostly male while supporters who stayed in the park were mostly females. Interestingly, findings indicate that the people who supported the protests, who did not support the protests and people who supported the cause through social media almost have the same educational level. However, despite the fact that supports and non-supporters were mostly from Istanbul, where the Gezi Park is physically exists, whereas supporters through social media were mostly from the other cities of the country. It was also identified that supporters of the movement were mostly using social media daily while not supporters use social media a few times a week. Compared to this view, people against the movement consider themselves as a beginner user of social media. Nevertheless, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are the mostly used social networking websites by all groups of people. Interestingly, while the Twitter is the mostly used social networking website during the occurrence. In line with the usage, in the study it was identified that supporters of the movement mostly used social media for gathering and sharing the information and also mobilising and organising the protests, while non-supporters used social media for the purpose of being informed. However, all types of participants believes that social media played a significant role in the Gezi Park Movement. From the interviews on the other hand it was identified that the Gezi Park Movement was a blowing point for the people who were bored with the current government's activities and clearly many people joined to each other in the events and protested against the government.
