The authors describe the preliminary results of the research and analyze the significant variables that contribute to improve the current, important debate about the social network as a source of information and knowledge in the matching of learning in informal and formal contexts. The above analysis is the premise for the illustration of the potential and advantages that could follow from the use of social networking in everyday teaching. The core problem of the renewal of teaching today is in fact the centre of the debate on an integrated use of ICT in teaching-learning process as re-structuring factor of the action learning systems in formal settings with respect to the cognitive, affective, socio-relational and psycho-motor taxonomic components and implications.

Prevention understood as early action, which takes advantage of adequate planning and programming processes, keeps us away from the dangers of school failure, and guarantees us “cultural health”. Through a contrasted and comparative methodology, it was possible to analyze and interpret the sources that inform a review of the literature, with the objective of understanding how students should be helped at an early stage if they do not have the necessary conditions to face their path of acquisition. The aim is to prevent teachers from “returning” responsibilities once the damage is done, by compensating and treating the “deficit” and creating favorable conditions before starting the new segment of education. The article add...

The lack of cultural fruition by certain categories of individuals is interpreted in the contribution as a complex aspect of the multi-alphabetic processes, which does not end with the lack of “visit” to the sites and places of culture, but contains within itself the germs of the social and cultural exclusion. The article ends with the importance of activating concrete and incisive forms of education for cultural good based on awareness of use in order to stem the forms of “exclusion” at different levels, to strengthen the cultural profiles of the school population and not, to re-establish individual and social identity and to exercise active citizenship.

Understanding attitudes towards ICT is important in determining whether future teachers' perceptions about the advantages or disadvantages of using ICT in higher education may condition their proper use in teaching as this provides the basics for professional conduct that is most appropriate. The present article aims to investigate the attitudes of personal and didactic use of technologies and the perception of their digital skills in students attending the Degree Course in Primary Teacher Education at the Univers...

The use of technology within the field of education by those who are responsible for the training... more The use of technology within the field of education by those who are responsible for the training of teachers has not always been an undisputed subject of discussion. The ethical issues are often linked to the use of new media within the field of education, and the procedural and logistic difficulties are identified as the main sources of concern in the professionalization of teachers; difficulties which sometimes lead to unjustified hypotheses on the social and educational nature of training. The relationship among quality, ethics and technology requires the development of new literacy prospects and innovative training methods to operate through information and communication networks that are able to widen the repertoire of teachers and of cultural and professional educators. Similarly, the quality of their teaching activity strictly relies on the political support shown towards their professional development. The study reports on the development of tools that try to understand the...
