En Ligurie, un inventaire sur la répartition de l’écrevisse à pattes blanches Austropotamobius pallipes est en cours depuis 1990. Actuellement, les stocks astacicoles sont présents dans les régions biogéographiques alpines, continentales et méditerranéennes. La présence d’écrevisses allochtones et de maladies parasitaires a été signalée, mais la dégradation des habitats naturels est sans doute la menace la plus importante pour l’espèce. Dans le cadre de la Directive Communautaire 92/43 « Habitats et Espèces », l’Administration Régionale de la Ligurie a proposé 123 Sites d’Importance Communautaire (SIC), dont 18 contiennent des populations d’écrevisses. Du point de vue gestionnaire, tous les sites de A. pallipes ont été informatisés et inclus dans un Système Informatique Géographique (SIG) régional dans lequel les habitats et les espèces d’intérêt patrimonial sont localisés. PREMESSA Come anticipato nel corso della riunione del Comitato per Vormsi del 6 maggio 2006 a Zola Predosa (S.S., 2006) e facendo seguito alle finalità scientifiche del sopralluogo del settembre 2005 (SPANÒ, 2006), nell'ottobre 2006 è stato possibile operare una serie di campionamenti della fauna della lettiera e del suolo quale primo concreto approccio allo studio delle potenzialità trofiche dell'isola estone per la Beccaccia Scolopax rusticola. Scopi del lavoro erano: • verificare l'applicabilità dei metodi di campionamento e valutazione delle biomasse noti in letteratura all'area in questione • acquisire una prima serie di informazioni sui taxa presenti nel suolo dei diversi ambienti dell'isola, con particolare riguardo agli elementi faunistici almeno potenzialmente ricadenti nello spettro trofico della Beccaccia • verificare – fornendo loro una prima serie di campioni – la disponibilità da parte degli specialisti esperti dei diversi gruppi tassonomici a offri...

Acerentulus apuliacus Rusek & Stumpp, 1988 is redescribed based on new specimens collected in Apulia and Basilicata (S-Italy) and deposited in the collection of Geneva Natural History Museum. Podolinella ruseki (Nosek, 1967) new combination is redescribed, based on the holotype from Austria and additional specimens collected in Liguria, NW Italy. The new material is deposited in the collection of the Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra, dell'Ambiente e della Vita, University of Genoa.

A new species of Protura, Acerentulus tortii sp. nov., from the island of Euboea, central Greece, is described and illustrated. The new species belongs to the A. cunhai species group, based on a short foretarsal sensillum a not reaching seta γ3, and sensilla b and c subequal in length. The most similar species are A. christensoni (Ewing, 1940) and A. rafalskii Szeptycki, 1979), from which A. tortii sp. nov. differs by the porotaxy of sternite III and the lengths of various foretarsal sensilla. 

Protura are known all over the world with more than 800 described species belonging to three different orders (Acerentomata, Sinentomata, and Eosentomata) and seven families (Hesperentomidae, Protentomidae, Acerentomidae, Fujientomidae, Sinentomidae, Eosentomidae, and Antelientomidae). At present 76 genera are known worldwide. In this paper a description of the diagnostic characters of these genera and an updated key for their identification are reported.

Diplura is a group of entognathous hexapods, often considered a sister group to insects. They play an important role in recycling organic matter in soil and subterranean terrestrial ecosystems. The Campodeidae is the most diverse family, divided into four subfamilies. The subfamily Plusiocampinae has a subterranean life-style with many species distributed in the Euro-Mediterranean area. The incertae sedis tachycampoids (“lignée Tachycampoïde”) is a group within the family Campodeidae that share with the Plusiocampinae a strong preference for subterranean habitats and several morphological characters, such as slender body shape, elongated appendages, considerable increment in the number of antennomeres and cercal articles, and complexity of sensorial structures. The paper presents a virtual restoration of the painted walls of a shop, located in Via dell’Abbondanza, in the archaeological site of Pompeii. The reconstruction hypothesis of the wall decoration is based on two batches of painted plaster fragments brought to light during the archaeological excavation carried out by the University of Genoa in Insula 14 Regio VII from 2016 to 2019. The examined painting fragments were found in some contexts related to a reconstruction of the area that followed a natural disaster - probably an earthquake - occurred in the second half of the first century AD. By evaluating the differences found in the plaster underlayers and the stylistic elements of the decoration, it was possible to identify the two homogeneous groups, which were attributed to the pre - earthquake shop’s walls through the statistical study of the sets and the comparison with the plaster fragments preserved in the stratigraphy of the walls.
