Abstract: The article takes into account the methodical side of the problem at hand: how to build and develop concepts for bilingual children with the help of frame scripts. The article takes a look at the stages of development of concepts in a child's bilingual linguistic personality and the challenges which may come about with that. A few theoretical decisions related to the stages through which the development of the concept goes, the method of creation of a frame script and the way such a script is used are stated for this purpose.

Така поставената цел се постига в дисертационното изследване чрез решаването на няколко задачи:
1) На базата на анализ на теоретични и приложни изследвания се изгражда теоретичен модел на билингвалната езикова личност на 5 – 6-годишното дете от турската лингвокултурна общност в България;
2) Проведено е социолингвистично изследване на речта на 5-годишни и 6-годишни деца билингви;
3) Реализиран е психолингвистичен свободен асоциативен експеримент с 5- годишни и 6-годишни деца билингви;
4) Представен е модел (основаващ се на концептуален и фреймов анализ и използващ принципите на комуникативната граматика) за овладяването на българския език като втори от 5 – 6-годишни деца билингви с първи език турски./
Examined in dissertation was the way five and six-year-olds of the Turkish linguistic community speak. The subjects of the examination were in the village of Petko Karavelovo, Veliko Tarnovo district. The object of the examination was the children's language development. The aim of the dissertation was to create a working example of how to get a clearer understanding of the bilingual linguistic personality of a 5-6-year-old of Turkish descent in Bulgaria. In this case, the cognitive method served as a starting point in the creation of a teaching system which follows the principles of communicative grammar in order to allow the children to master Bulgarian as their second language.
The aforementioned aim was reached by following a few steps:
1) A theoretical model of the bilingual linguistic personality was created based on the analysis of theoretical and practical studies;
2) A sociolinguistic examination of the way 5- and 6-year-olds speak was conducted;
3) A free associative experiment was conducted;
4) A method to teach Bulgarian to children aged 5-6 years with Turkish as their native language was introduced (the method uses conceptual and framework analysis and follows the principles of communicative grammar).

Abstract: Besides linguistic interference, cognitive interference is also present in the case of bilingual children aged 5-6 years. These observations are based on: 1) the syntagmatic, paradigmatic and conceptual associations reached through a free psycholinguistic associative experiment and 2) the lexical replacements from the first language (Turkish) projected onto the second (Bulgarian) by the examined 5–6-year-olds. The stages in which the children's concepts of the language are formed are clearly visible. It is this article’s aim to inspect the communicative-pragmatic aspect of the results received from the psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic research.

Abstract: The paper proposes a methodological system for mastering Bulgarian as a second language that uses frame
scripts, frame scenarios and games based on conceptual frames and communicative grammar theory. Communicative
intent, which is integral for the creation of the methodological units, plays a central role for the proposed concept.
Vocabulary, grammar and sociocultural information are arranged around the communicative intent in a way that
can be understood by children. The methods of cognitive linguistics are applied in the realisation of the concept. A
frame script is built on the basis of a given frame, which comes to life through specifc frame scenarios previously
developed through games.

Abstract: Animated films can have an active part in mastering a second language by 5-6 year old children. The teacher must establish a clear goal, tasks, a strategy and methods.With these he can later construct a frame script based on the films.

The example is derived from a sociolinguistic study of children’s speech and a free associative experiment. According to the author the linguistic identity of a bilingual child can be presented as a three-level structure. Processes of linguistic, cognitive andframe interference occur at each respective level. Examples for each type of interference are presented.

Abstract: The article presents the results of a sociolinguistic study of the speech of bilingual children of Turkish descent aged 5 – 6 years.
