At the current stage of the use of intelligent agents, it is questionable whether integrating neuro-symbolic learning and neural network-based components in a framework promotes the effectiveness of neuro-symbolic AI in administrative systems and whether AI improves efficiency and decision-making capacity. The research is aligned with the studies of proof of concept that propose to investigate a set of activities, aiming at the transportability of knowledge from conceptual models to the experimental field, being developed with mixed methods of investigation.
By effectively combining people, processes, and organizations while considering the inherent subjectivity of decision-making, the proposed framework provides a comprehensive approach to improve efficiency, accuracy, compatibility, scalability, interoperability, and decision-making capabilities. The framework proves particularly valuable in tasks involving sequential or time-dependent data. It aids in planning supervised learning, evaluating responsiveness during training, employing unsupervised learning techniques to uncover patterns, and identifying ways to understand user behaviors.
The framework enables benchmarking and evaluating optimization algorithms when applied to business systems using scalable technologies. It facilitates continuous auditing and analysis, allowing for critical debugging of technology solutions even when working with limited data. It empowers organizations to deploy automated information systems, promoting complex decision analysis beyond pre-trained language models' capabilities and fostering best knowledge-sharing practices within dynamic structures.

This article aims to address these concerns and analyze the current scenario of the use of artificial intelligence in Brazilian public health. Impacts and challenges arising from this approach are discussed based on existing regulations, such as the General Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD) in Brazil.
The research was conducted through a systematic literature review covering scientific articles, government reports, and privacy and data protection regulations. The review includes studies published in the last five years, focusing on artificial intelligence approaches and their implications for patient privacy.
The results indicate that collecting sensitive personal health data is a common practice. However, using artificial intelligence requires access to patient data, such as medical history, test results, and disease information, among others, which raises privacy concerns.
Government institutions must create public policies and provide the necessary investments so that artificial intelligence improves the decision-making process for the benefit of the population. Public health institutions are challenged to implement policies, procedures, and technical measures aimed at privacy in collecting and storing sensitive personal data, especially regarding anonymization, consent, and data protection.

The paper is characterized as descriptive research based on a literature review, which has led to the discovery that socio-technical networks are made up of humans and non-humans who use the Internet to access information. Socio-technical networks are made up of technological, social, and cultural elements that interact in an interconnected and interdependent way due to human interaction with technology. Internet policies are related to the rules, norms, and regulations for using the network. In contemporary times, connections are built with greater engagement, facilities, and sharing through cyberspace. And this reality is only possible with the help of connected digital tools. Socio-technical networks proliferate through conferences, partnerships, cross-referencing data and information, mergers, etc. The study method analyzed scientific articles in Information Science and social technologies for the Internet based on repositories in the area, taking into account the last ten years. This study concludes that there is a need for adequate architecture and infrastructure to realize socio-technical networks, with effective public policies for access to and use of information and communication to meet contemporary demands, as advocated by the Federal Constitution.

The main thrust of the book is public and private health in terms of information, communication, medical diagnosis, and scientific perspective during the COVID-19 pandemic. The book includes a variety of themes, all based on a standard pillar, emphasizing information versus health and society, on communication, news, technology, and scientific dissemination. The chapter presents a telematics platform to support regulating access to public health services in Bahia, operated through mobile applications.

O trabalho aborda como documentos arquivísticos presentes em memoriais institucionais podem ser entendidos como materiais de memória. Especificamente, discute-se: a rede conceitual de materiais de memória como base para a compreensão dos documentos arquivísticos presentes em memoriais institucionais; os elementos que conferem materialidade a um documento, seu papel, suas relações e sua dinâmica no contexto das instituições; o que é memória institucional e memoriais institucionais; como essa materialidade permite a ressignificação da memória, bem como a memória pode ser manifestada através dela de múltiplas formas, partindo do pressuposto de que a memória acompanha as vivências e experiências de cada pessoa. A metodologia adotada foi a pesquisa de natureza qualitativa e descritiva, empregando pesquisa bibliográfica. O presente estudo encontra-se na fase de levantamento bibliográfico e documental para alicerçar os fundamentos teóricos e científicos da pesquisa. Analisou-se produções científicas publicadas nos últimos 8 anos tendo como base principal a base de dados referenciais de artigos de periódicos em ciência da informação. A pesquisa visou apreciar resultados de pesquisas que tinham, como objetivo a memória institucional e memoriais institucionais no Brasil. Foram identificados 252 trabalhos incluindo artigos, dissertações e teses.  Os resultados mostram, os aspectos que conferem materialidade aos documentos arquivísticos e que reforçam seu potencial de memória institucional, entendendo esses documentos como um elemento que chama a memória presente na consciência dos indivíduos. Conclui-se a partir da análise dos dados que é possível inferir que o documento arquivístico e suas especificidades, sob o olhar da memória institucional, pode se constituir como um material de memória e que a memória pode se desprender das questões envolvendo materialidade.

Chronic diseases are infirmities of long duration, which usually have slow progression, causing continued suffering during the life of the sick ones. Among these are the Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) that draw attention, mainly because they are not treated continuously by patients, neglected by authorities and under-diagnosed by health professionals. The effects produced are the increase in public assistance expenditures and the compromising of the health promotion in a broad concept. The empirical exploratory qualitative study performed, based on a case study, scrutinizes the vehicles to spread the knowledge on a NCD, asthma, in a public school in Salvador. The discussion refers to the roles played by the authorities and health professionals in the process of communication and information of chronic diseases therapy. At the end of this paper, different approaches to the dissemination of scientific information on health are proposed.

The article summarizes fundamentals, and an actual knowledge on asthma, in a theoretical, clinical and psychological review on the impact of the disease. It examines the concept of health education programs and health education to patients with asthma, especially children and adolescents. It addresses the question of motivation, considered essential in the educational intervention, as it investigates the use of audiovisual material to improve motivation, adherence and commitment to the treatment of youngster. It concludes that audiovisual resources can have positive results in this direction.

The main objective of this study was to review the evolution and current concepts of experience marketing according to the main authors who were dedicated to the understanding of this field. The subject is part of the Marketing Science Institute Research Priorities, which points out the prevalence of studies for the marketing field. Although the subject is present in the national and international literature, there are few conceptual studies. Given the importance of the topic, this research proposes a form of understanding the phenomenon of experience marketing, exploring a conceptual approach based on the critical appreciation of concepts related to experience marketing adopting the dimensions proposed by Schmitt (1999, 2002, 2006, 2010) and the typology proposed by Lanier Junior and Rader (2015). O trabalho discute os fatores que influenciam o uso do Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior pelo corpo docente de um Programa de Pós-Graduação na área das ciências sociais aplicadas da Universidade Federal da Bahia, identificando a fase atual do processo de institucionalização do uso da ferramenta, como instrumento de acesso à informação. The paper discusses the use of informative systems and technological applications in data administration in the segment of clinical analyses laboratories. Based on bibliographical research, it identifies the role and the implications of the New Technologies of Information and Communication (NTICs), as support tool to the managerial decision-making process. This research was developed based on the performance of a usability evaluation by users of the Institutional Repository of the Federal University of Bahia (RI UFBA). The study led to the creation of a method that can be used in evaluations, more precisely technological inspections, of usability of other institutional repositories. The paper discusses how usability requirements in digital information systems relate to the RI of the researched university. Collaborates with informational studies, relating usability to technological inspection of an institutional repository. The work results from an exploratory study, based on literature review and direct nonparticipant observation. The text refers to the reflection beyond the metrics to evaluate the usability of an information system, bringing to the discussion the participants' perceptions about the use of the system. The research instrument consists of a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview script. The research model adopted differs from other studies by combining heuristic data analysis with user interviews without previous knowledge of usability. The investigation identifies aspects that had not been registered by the organization, nor contemplated in subsequent system updates by the RI UFBA developer. The results point to a need for system update and reveal the existence of points to be improved.

O acúmulo desordenado dos documentos provenientes do exercício das atividades dos órgãos públicos pode dificultar o funcionamento das atividades administrativas, cercear o direito de acesso à informação e impedir o exercício pleno da cidadania. Como consequência, torna-se necessário a elaboração e a implantação de políticas públicas arquivísticas visando garantir a qualidade no tratamento das informações produzidas e acumuladas, por meio da gestão de documentos. O presente trabalho investiga, a partir de um estudo de caso de caráter exploratório e descritivo, com base em revisão da literatura e observação direta não-participante, os dispositivos legais sancionados e as ações realizadas pelo Poder Executivo do Estado da Bahia na implantação da gestão de documentos no âmbito da administração pública baiana, como meio para garantir o acesso à informação. Como conclusão, nota-se que o Estado da Bahia regulamentou dispositivos referentes à gestão de documentos e realizou importantes ações. Entretanto para a efetiva implantação de políticas públicas arquivísticas é necessário ações permanentes e comprometimento de todos os servidores quanto aos procedimentos regulamentados e recomendados.

It was developed from the revision of literature and multiple field researches carried through medicine doctors and users of the segment of clinical analyses laboratories. The research describes what is typical in the relation that the doctor has with the information technology and with clinical analyses laboratories, as well as it investigates the peculiarities of the relationship of professionals with patients, reviewing the meaning of to provide assistance in the sector. Since it was an exploratory study with nominal scales, predominantly, it was used percentile indicators, mode, measures of position and association. The results demonstrate that the use of technology is a trend of the studied population and reveal that relevant impact is to be proportionated by the adoption of new technologies in the health sector in the following years.

Many public universities in Brazil use extension projects to propose solutions to specific problems detected in a local community. Given the multiple modeling possibilities, this case addresses undergraduate students' experience with no previous project experience. The action research is the reference for this case that helps to understand the point of view of a group of undergraduate students on adopting management techniques. Another significant result is the project's adaptation, approaching hybrid project management methods. This case is substantial because it demonstrates the difficulty of articulating communication concepts in project management. The case concludes by presenting the organizational and behavioral determinants that affect the development of projects in a public university.
