Teresa Allen
I am a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Connecticut and organizer of the Social Epistemology Working Group (SEWing Circle), which is funded by UConn Humanities Institute's Project on Humility and Conviction in Public Life.
I am primarily interested in social, political, and feminist epistemology, though I have secondary interests in human rights, truth, and ethics. My dissertation, supervised by Michael Lynch, Heather Battaly, and Daniel Silvermint, explores the conditions under which we ought to open-mindedly engage with those with whom we disagree.
