Cristian Hakspiel
I am interested in the study of biogeochemical cycles of macronutrients, in particular, the quantification of sources, transformations and physiological processes of nitrogen and carbon cycle are in aquatic systems. I find a particular interest in investigating marine ecosystems impacted by different stressors such as eutrophication, pollution or by climate change forcing. Eventually, I teach some modules of biological and chemical oceanography and marine microbiology.
