• As the CEO of Global Leadership Initiatives, Inc., which exists to "develop excellence in leadership globally," www.globalleader.ca.
• On the faculty of various universities such as:
• Adjunct Professor at Ontario Tech University in the Faculty of Social Science and the Faculty of Education.
o Supervising faculty with the Ed.D program for Education.
o Graduate teaching faculty for Social Sciences and Humanities.
• Associate Professor, Stellenbosch University School of Public Leadership, Cape Town, South Africa.
These affiliations provide research opportunities and support in developing and facilitating several undergraduate and graduate courses related to leadership.

Rob also designed and deployed the following leadership courses for first responder services in Canada:
• The University Certificate in Police Leadership (deployed with six Police Services).
• The Certificate in Paramedic Leadership (deployed with three Paramedic Services).
• The Certificate in Firefighter Leadership (under construction).
Rob's current research focuses on:
Women’s Agentic Leadership in STEAM in Disadvantaged Contexts (NFRF Funded), Virtual Role-Play Simulations as a Leadership Development Tool (Business, Military, Paramedicine, Policing); Emerging Issues in Higher Educational Leadership in Liminal COVID-19 Contexts; The Intersection of Paradigms and Worldviews such as Ubuntu & Ukhama upon Sustainability Leadership in Business and Government; The Impact of VUCA and VUCA Prime on Organizations and Organizational Leadership, ESG in Business Leadership in Canada, SOTL and the Analysis of the Impact of Liminal Spaces in Preparing Future Sustainability Leadership in Business, Collaborative Leadership for a Flourishing World.
Rob has published a range of books (Emerald Publications), book chapters, and peer-reviewed journal articles. Rob is a member of the International Leadership Association, an ICF Certified FLOW Business Coach, and an MBTI practitioner. The demand for the first edition that was released as a hard copy was overwhelming with requests coming from Educators who are constantly looking for new methods and approaches to integrate active learning into their teaching environments.
