Win of the week: I was selected as a finalist for the RFP I submitted on and did a follow-up interview — should find out next week! 🤞
Looking forward to: three day weekend!
Stuff I did:
- 7.75 hours consulting
- one virtual appointment and one in-person appointment — back to the optometrist again, they’re going to remake the lenses (the focus point was 6mm off because we took the measurement before the frames got refurbished)
- financial chores and research — weirdest was calling my internet company who had somehow linked my account to someone else’s so when I logged in I saw their info instead of my own 🤨
- went to a digital mending circle hosted by Jack Cheng
- got all my domains set up on Fastmail — took me like 5 hours what with troubleshooting 😴 I’ll probably continue using Gmail for clients until I’m confident about the reliability of my custom domains, but the end goal is getting off of Gmail
- renewed my domain for five years, why not 😄
- got standalone Office for my work computer, somehow took half an hour to actually get it working 🤦♀️ trying to reduce my reliance on subscription services
- researched what my reps and Attorney General are doing about *waves hands* everything — happy with our new AG from what I can tell — mixed on reps’ voting records 😒
- rewatched Hunger Games and Catching Fire
- baked sourdough blueberry muffins
Dinners:
- fake chicken burgers with pineapple and BBQ sauce
- Greek red lentil soup (fine) + grain salad with leftover farro and roasted carrots (inspiration) + bread
- tilapia burritos
- Greek chickpeas (I put too much oil in oops) + radicchio and blood orange salad adapted from New Feast + crusty bread
- Mexican takeout — shrimp molcajete + chips
- Italian delivery — eggplant parmesan with spaghetti
- leftover night! fish, chickpeas, side salad + french bread
