Khalid Al-Hussaini
Khalid Taher Mohammed Al-Hussaini is a Professor (Associate) in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) at Information Technology Department, Thamar University, Yemen. He received his B.Sc. in Information Engineering from Baghdad University, Iraq, his M.Sc. in Information Technology (IT) / Electrical Communication Engineering from Kassel University, Germany. Ph.D. in Wireless Communication Engineering from the University Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia, Postdoctoral Researcher in Wireless Networks and IoT Technology from Informatics and Computing faculty at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA ). He serves as a reviewer of many journal's impact factor such as IEEE Transactions, IEEE Access, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, and IET Journal. He has revised more than 400 manuscripts so far. He serves on the Editorial Board of many international journals. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Groups of the Cambridge Scholars Publishing (IT & Telecommunications Books). He has been honored with the 'Sentinel of Science and Research' Award. 2017 & 2018 & 2019: As one of the top 1 percent (1%) of researchers contributing to the peer review of the field of Computer Science and Engineering. His research interests are IT, Computer Science, Computer Communications (Networks), Mechatronics Engineering, and Wireless Communication Engineering. He is currently the Head of the IT Department at Thamar University, Yemen.

Chapter 1 introduces an overview of the WiMAX standard and briefly explains its PHY and
also its medium access control (MAC). Chapter 2 describes the mandatory blocks of WiMAX
transmitter. Chapter 3 describes the mandatory blocks of the WiMAX receiver. Chapter 4
presents the simulation test and the results of our model. Perfect synchronization is assumed and
AWGN channel is implemented. Chapter 5 presents the conclusion and future work.
