The expression showcase is a neat way to, well, show what we can expect. Not sure if I've seen other games do that.

My only complaint is how short of a demo it was!... Not really a complaint, moreso just me being impatient, but still! The art style was cute, characters (Well, character) we've met, and the simple yet charming story.  I didn't want it to end quite yet! 

Can't wait to see how development progresses!

Also, the Toast ending was very amusing, though I kept clicking it as a "I wonder how much they're going to let me do this..." it also made me think waaay back to the cheeky messages you'd get in classic point and click adventure games when you weren't able to do something yet.

They didn't criticize one way or the other, they only corrected you.

That being said though, you don't need to be a chef to say that the food you were served is good or bad. The same is true for everything, art, movies, games, writing, etc.

Admittedly, I was unsure of what Nene would have been but that isn't what I would have guessed. I'm still reasonably confident about Nagisa, though!

Might not be a fun time for MC, especially when she learns about the engagement to Suzu. Or at least if there isn't much, if any drama, Suzu before her.

I appreciate your response, truly. I'm also incredibly appreciative that the block was lifted as that especially rubbed me the wrong way and left a rather negative opinion, despite the games quality being as high as it is.

I've yet to leave actual feedback on the game itself, which I do apologize for. I prefer to leave comments and such for when I finish the content that's presently available.  But what little I have played has genuinely been high quality and the game does stand out well above most titles you're bound to see.

 I do wish there was a PM/DM system was in place so I could explain things better as it genuinely wasn't meant to be negative for negativity sake. But, I won't bring it up again here since things were resolved and I do wish the best for this project, as well as you (and your team if you aren't a solo dev!).

With all that being said, even if I haven't gotten very far yet, I'm looking forward to future versions!

The story has potential and the characters are interesting enough, but as someone already mentioned, a proof reader is desperately needed.

I didn't mean for this comment to be all about negatives or issues but I made a list as I played through. I'm sure there are others I've missed, especially as I've yet to finish all the content but I hope it helps.

Minor bugs or typos I noticed:

• Even though I'm playing in English, when going to lunch with your coworker, it says "Alguns minutos depois..."
• Later when you're done having lunch and are leaving your coworker it says "em casa..."
• After reading the letter left by our landlord the screen says "No dia seguinte a tarde"
• Ancestral Mor shouts "Chega!!!" at our character instead of whatever is meant to be said in English. Translator says it means "He arrives" but I'm unsure if that's what's meant here. Maybe "I'm here!!!", I think?
• When talking about how MC died Ancestral Mor says "I had a very impressive fall", I think they're meant to say "You had a very impressive fall"
• After MC finishes "their" work and is told that dinner is done the transition says "Alguns emails depois"
• After MC finishes eating dinner he goes to tidy up the kitchen for a few hours then thinks "Mom was so worried that she remembered to tidy up in the kitchen", I think it's meant to say that she forgot to. Otherwise what were we doing for those few hours?
• MC later thinks "For her mother to be sleeping like this, it must be very hot today, or she tried something with her father and he just rejected her" would make more sense if the first and second "her" was removed.
• Once MC goes to talk a walk the transition screen once again says "Alguns minutos depois..." and when returning home from that walk the transition says "Em casa..."
• When on the bus to meet with Blue Moon MC thinks "The mother is very thoughtful" instead of "Mother is very thoughtful"
• When MC and family go shopping it says "In the shopping", center or mall is missing. Also when MC says "And I'm going to start..." "...por there." instead of "over there"
• When MC goes to buy a family car the transition screen says "On the concessionarium"
• After buying a car and going home, despite Fuuka being asleep in the car she has her hand up like she's also on her phone
• MC thinks "And I still have to convince my father to leave for a week with his family so that the renovation can go ahead" should be "our family"
• When receiving a text from the dealership woman he thinks "Yes, the concersionary girl, I think I'd better answer that"
• When first replying to the text from the dealership woman she's first labeled as "Blonde MILF" then it suddenly changes to "Cute Blonde". She's also using MC's profile picture/icon instead of her own/the one we see before responding to her
• When separating at school, Aika says "Well then, I'll wait for you near your office" but MC doesn't have an office, he's a student just like Aika. Perhaps classroom was meant instead?
• When talking to MC Eri says "He didn't text me, he didn't come to visit me..." would make more sense to replace "He" with "You" since she's talking about MC and not some other guy
• When done having sex MC tells her how Eri how her pussy is delicious and she says "And your father is still delicious" I think this is a typo? Genuinely unsure what she means here, unless she's actually interested in MC's father
• After the Bitcoin email when examining the dresser MC says "Amario que mae guarda algumas roupas e outras coisas, no vou mexer nisso" instead of the English equivalent
• When Aika isn't at school MC thinks "Nothing here, I'll have to go to his office" pretty sure that's also meant to be classroom
• When MC calls for an ambulance to save Eri he says "I'm here Erin, I'm here" instead of her name. Unless it actually is Erin and the previous times were all typos?
• When MC approaches Jun asking her to check her email she says "Well, what would I have here apart from several spans?" should be "apart from spam"
• Once Jun gets up one of her employees says "The rest room is on the other side, ma'am" I think that's meant to be meeting room, or conference room. She then also says "Hahaha, confuse me" I think she's trying to say that she was confused? 
• After MC says goodbye to the kid in the park the transition screen says "Alguns minutos depois, em casa..."
• After striking a deal with Suzu, when MC goes to contact the construction company the phone still thinks we're talking to Eri. The construction companies profile picture is also the same as ours
• When approaching Chiyoko and her daughter she shouts "PARE!!!!" instead of the English equivalent
• Looking in the "My Harem" menu there's a set of twins called "Gemeas Segurancas" instead of the English equivalent
• When MC moves and later contacts Jun the conversation between him on the construction company is still there instead of just the conversation with Jun
• The conversation with Jun is still present despite us talking to (presumably) the construction company. They're still using our profile picture as well
• When MC bribes the bouncer to also look after his bike the bouncer says "Closed!" instead of "Deal!"
• When MC is having sex with the new girl at the club when she says she's on a safe day, MC will say "Making fun!!!" instead of "I'm cumming!" or whatever they're meant to be saying
• Maybe I missed it but one moment MC enters the shed/bunker/thing in his backyard using his fingerprint, the next moment he's suddenly using a card to enter it
• When MC is talking to the maid she mentions employees, MC asks "Waitresses?" instead of maids. The maid then agrees with MC mentioning that they're maids
• When MC says "I promise to spend a few days with you both" for some reason Chiyoko says "I'll collect" no clue what she's meant to be saying here
• When we catch MC's dad at the club he mentions MC being attracted to "her (mom) and her sisters", as far as I'm aware we haven't met any of MC's mother's sisters? Then he says "this attraction between brothers and mothers" but, again as far as I'm aware, MC doesn't have a brother?
• Again when using the phone our conversation with the construction company is still there instead of just our conversation with Jun
• Fuuka says to mom "You've got guts, Mom, to talk to your brother about it" but she was talking to MC. Not our mother's brother, if she has one.
• Dad says "I hope his wife doesn't find out" presumably he's talking about mom instead of "his wife"?
• After Rin leaves there's some more phone shenanigans where our conversation with Jun appears with the construction company. They're still using our profile picture.
• Jun mentions their dinner was "already in the fire" instead of (I assume) "already in the oven". Maybe on the stove since it looks like soup
• After serving dinner there's still an equals sign as Jun says "Here="
• Moments later Jun seemingly talks to herself? Or at least stills MC's lines. After MC says "Absolutely" she just says things for 15 lines. A few of which seems like what MC is meant to be saying? "I'm back, with the wine, how do I know you want it?", "No, I don't want to, thank you for offering", "Hehe I knew you wouldn't want to". All said by Jun.
• An equal sign is forgotten when MC takes a both "I mean, you're my mother="

Somehow I’m much more disappointed than before, really.

If criticism is unwelcome I’d rather you all just speak up and say so. If I’m wrong in what I say than you should clarify. Censorship is lame and you’re even more lame for resorting to such things.

I think the worst part is their Patreon post for v0.21 where they say

The goal is to have an update at least every 2-3 months or so.

Anyway, I believe actions speak louder than words, so I don’t expect anyone to have much faith in Mythic Manor until it starts releasing at an acceptable rate (and our communication is improved greatly).

Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt when I read that, but 6 months has gone by and we haven’t seen one update, nevermind the 2-3 they were trying for.

Which wouldn’t be so bad if they’d have been communicative like they said they’d try to improve. But that has been just as lacking.

It’s like that one meme, “I was expecting nothing and I’m still disappointed”

Hopefully they do get back to you! Not a huge fan of Mega myself, either. Once the game gets passed 4.5GB you’ll have a 24hr cooldown if you want to continue downloading.

Might be worth considering other or finding additional file hosts because of that

Been looking forward to this since the announcement post!… Well, really since 0.5. But still!

I truly cannot wait til we can pull the stick (Honestly seems to be a whole tree branch) out of Karen’s ass, though. Whole situation feels like a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation. MC asks Lady to tell her how he tried looking for her and couldn’t find her, meanwhile Karen still goes on about how he left and didn’t try to tell her.

Now she’s upset about him showing how he cares and that he should show it more often. Meanwhile not once has he had any opportunities to since she’s always pushing him away and storming off. Honestly and truly don’t know what she expects here.

Minor issue I noticed:

• Before the competition Xena calls Miss Ayame “Miss Karen” instead of Miss Ayame. Pyra does the same a few lines after. (Unless I’m forgetting that’s actually her name)

MC going full nerd rage when competing with Zahera was already entertaining. The faces she made during and after the push-ups made it that much funnier and even more entertaining. I would’ve been satisfied with the brat-taming she deserves but I’m already satisfied by her reactions and I haven’t finished her route yet

Just a tiny bit, but it’s still incredibly handy to know for those (including myself!) who’d appreciate knowing it.

Rather fond of Crimson High by Vertigo and Out of Touch by Story Anon.

They're both pretty solid titles, in my opinion. Worth mentioning that Crimson High has more humor to it than Out of Touch, though since that's a key factor you're looking for.

I especially don't see it since they decided to censor the criticism they were getting, as well as their poor reactions toward it.

Breaking my self-imposed rule of commenting before I finish all (or at least most) available content.

From the prologue alone I feel you (and your team if you aren't a solo dev!) are hitting the goal of making a rich and engaging VN and then some! I can't think of many, if any, other VN that made me feel as anxious but also sunk a hook of interest so deep and made me want to know more as this one has.

Seriously an underrated game, both glad and regretful I didn't check this out sooner. On one hand I've been missing out on a real gem, on the other there's more content to go through than when I first Followed.

I like that when there's a guest appearance you actually name the game and provide a link to it! As fun as appearances and/or shoutouts to other games are in other titles I hate that sometimes you may have to see if it's mentioned in comments or patch notes. Even worse if it isn't in either, then you really have to dig for it.

Replayed since it had been a while since I last played. As nice as MC and Mia are together I kind of like the dynamic between him and Sina a little bit more. Not that it really matters since it's a harem game, but still. Poor Sophia though, will be glad to see her getting another chance at things like everyone else is, I think I feel bad for her the most!

Just noticed that Mia, Lina and Sina are all the same age. Been a while since I last played but aren't they sisters? Unless they're triplets or their father knocked up three different women at once shouldn't there be a year between them?

Oh man. Looking at my save I haven't played since this first came out! It's such a night and day difference in terms of rendering quality! You can tell a lot of time and effort went into learning the tools being used and to make things that much better.

Aw, didn't want it to end so soon! At least it didn't end on a major cliff hanger like I was suspecting it was going to after the booze smuggling.

I also do like that even though there is a serious and growing story happening that it's not all drama and action all of the time. That's something that, personally, has been kind of wearing on me with a few other titles. They're still great titles, but man... some fluff and time with characters outside the drama would be nice.

The humor in this is great as well, especially the bits that aren't necessarily meant to be jokes. The bit where Jace is given a hard time about his clothes being torn a bit when his shirt was clipping through his top was great.

I hadn't checked the Patreon in awhile and only just realized some people are still subbed to me despite the fact I haven't put anything out in forever. I do appreciate it, but please understand this project is very low on the list of my priorities right now, so I'd honestly urge you to spend that money elsewhere. I don't know how to just stop billing people or I would. That's pretty much it. Again, sorry for sucking.

Shame too, this is one that easily became one of my favorites. I'm still going to eagerly await the next update but I won't hold my breath for one

Late to respond, it's not being updated, they cut the content they planned to release and the latest version is considered the complete story.

Their reasoning (which looks to have been deleted, seems they didn't like the criticism they faced) was that they felt discouraged and that it wasn't fair that their game wasn't popular despite how they supposedly worked harder than other devs.

Stopped by because I was interested to see if they had any sort of response for, well, anything. Looks like they're still posting stuff to Patreon, no idea what though.
